'Hotel zeer centraal gelegen. Prima Spa en ook het ontbijt is zeer goed. Vriendelijk personeel aan de balie. De housekeeping en hierdoor de hygiëne van het hotel, was waardeloos. Aan de receptie moeten vragen of er überhaupt iemand tijd had om onze kamer schoon te maken en schone handdoeken te brengen. Water koker op de kamer was kapot en hierdoor geen mogelijkheid om koffie/thee te zetten. Verschillende keren aangegeven aan de receptie zonder goede afloop. Douche bij zowel de sauna als gym erg...

'Charming hotel with beautifully decorated rooms. Location is perfect for visiting old and new Plovdiv. Very friendly and helpful owner. We had to leave early for the bus to Velikov and the owner arranged for an (homemade) early breakfast and a taxi to the bus-station.'

'This is the most beautiful old hotel right in the old city. I had a little trouble finding it as you have to pass through the barriers to get access to the old city. Looking at Google maps, I mistakenly thought access was on the main road. Hristo, the owner, had registered my car details so I was waved through the barrier with no problem.

'I enjoyed the my room in the these quaint historic hotel with atmosphere. My bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. I especially enjoyed sitting out in the back patio and garden. It is a wonderful location in old town Plovdiv and a quick few minutes to the bustling Kapana area with shops and restaurants '

En de bedoeling van de verplichte badmuts begreep ik helemaal niet, en wat ook tegenviel is dat de jacuzzi niet werkte. Vervolgens als je overdag voor het zwembad betaald moet je 's avonds weer betalen als je gaat...
