'The house accommodated our 11 family members out of the area to stay comfortably and be able to visit with other family members living in the area. We all gathered to be together to celebrate a high school graduation and Open House as well as a surprise 25th wedding anniversary party at Sylvan Cellars. The house was well supplied for meeting all our needs. The ceilings on the first floor were low, so for people over 6'5" need to duct heads a lot, but we managed.'

'Old college friends meeting up once a year for antiquing, no cooking, no husbands and lots of conversation. We enjoyed a two night stay. Plenty of space for 2. Each of us had our own bed and full bath (up bath is a shower only). One of each on the main floor and in the basement. Minimal but nice decor. Wished we brought binoculars. Pretty view of the lake. A decent walk to the dock. Mown path. A killer climb back up if you have sciatica and bad knees. We didnt spend much time in the back....

'While it was only my husband and me this trip, this house would be perfect for a large family gathering. Two full baths and many beds, well stocked with necessities. 'We loved our stay at this property. It was a great country setting and very comfortable. The furniture was like new and very comfortable. Many extras like coffee and tea. They provided soaps, shampoo, and plenty of bath towels and wash cloths. The owner checked on us to make sure we were happy with everything and wanted to know if we needed anything. This house is very convenient to all of the attractions and shopping in Shipshewana. You can't go wrong staying here. I would highly recommend this...
