Quaint well located near Piazza Navona. Friendly and helpful staff.clean and spacious room.i was told you need a permit to drive to the front door we walked about 200m to a taxi rank.

Chose this property solely for the swimming pool. They posted pictures of on their website. And the large rooms. It is not a swimming pool but a small Jacuzzi tub that is only heated to 70°F. The sauna was broken and in order to use the Jacuzzi, you have to make a reservation. The room amenities are zilch and the staff not accommodating. In a very local area close to restaurants which was nice, but would not stay again.

This was an absolute lovely place to stay! My only disappointment was I paid a little over $500 for an upgraded suite and the room was pretty small and there was no parking so several hundred dollars more for offsite parking! But the place is beautiful and the staff were great! I would definitely recommend but don’t recommend upgrading for a better room because the other rooms can’t possibly be any smaller than the one we had with the upgraded room

We stayed for a couple days on the final leg of our Italy vacation. The staff were super nice and helpful. The hotel is in a very convenient location, so we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. And the building it is in is 1,000 years old, so that is pretty cool in itself.

Quaint and cute hotel exceeded expectations.
My wife and I stayed here for a few days after a cruise to relax, explore and see Rome properly before heading home to the States. This place is in a pretty cool neighborhood really close to everything. The Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Vatican City and sort of close to the Coliseum. Always be cautious of pick pockets but that's anywhere in Rome. This hotel's spa had some pretty basic features but it was everything we needed to relax from our travels.

My son and I enjoyed a three-day stay at the hotel (28-31 October). Although the decor could do with some refreshing, the hotel staff were excellent- super friendly and helpful - and the hotel is ideally located for exploring all the major sites in Rome. There also lots of lovely cafes, restaurants and boutique shops nearby, as well as a handy mini market 5 minutes away. The icing on the cake at the hotel is it’s small but pleasant spa, which you can book for a 1.5 hour slot each day. We very much enjoyed our sessions in the spa - it was the perfect way to relax after a day walking around the city.

Location is fabulous in the heart of Piazza Navona. The rest is just average and probably over priced. The elevator is iffy. The stairs are work. Limited desk service. As a personal preference, I would not stay there again.

We loved it here. Our suite was super cute and impeccably, clean and well decorated. Close to lots of restaurants and shops, and a staff was very friendly and helpful.

The location was quite easy to get to many areas on foot. Plenty of dining nearby. The hotel is very unique. I loved the doors and wood ceilings and the exterior of the building. The only complaints would be the mildew on the side of the tub, very hard and flat old pillows on the bed, cheap shampoo, etc., and the instant coffee was terrible.

Please do not book this property. I made the mistake of booking it. Please do not go by what the pictures show, this is not a hotel. Cleanliness was terrible, service awful, and this has been one of the worst properties I’ve seen from the pictures my parents showed me. If i could request a refund i would.

Starting with the good: the location of the property was amazing. It was extremely walkable to all the big tourist sights as well as in a fun area with a lot of shops, great restaurants, and cafes. The front desk set up a taxi pickup for us the morning of our flight as well which was super convenient as well. Now the bad: This property is billed as a hotel, but it does not have 24-hr concierge. We booked a "deluxe double" room and the original room we received should not even be considered a room and offered to guests. It had no windows (was just a dark dungeon room), it was SO small - barely any floor space. The furniture they chose just blocked everything. For the price we paid we were expecting a nice room to celebrate my birthday/our honeymoon and the room we received was unacceptable. The bathroom had an unnecessarily large jacuzzi tub which I believe the owners think makes up for the fact that its a small windowless dungeon with no cell service. But it should be noted that there was visible mold/mildew all over the showers and bath tubs (how much effort is it to scrub the tiles with bleach every once and while? especially for what we paid to stay there...) so I would NOT advice using those tubs. After complaining we were moved to the "other" deluxe room upstairs - which was still a disappointment, but MUCH better than our old room. The new room had more usable floor space and at least had a window, but you could tell corners were cut while cleaning the rooms.

This hotel was very quirky, tucked away on a little side street, very close to restaurants, shops and many of Rome's historical sights. The staff were always very helpful and the spa was an added gem!

Terrible experience, had ants and bug in the room
The room was very dirty, I had ants and a bug in my room ( which according to front desk is a usual thing there because is an old building). I got a room with a shower inside the room without any curtain even, doesn't feel nice to shower like this. The room was very small without a place the put the suitcase. I didn't received any help from the manager And he was un reached about the ants prob. Terrible experience.

It was ok. I will say that it was very clean. Only saw the staff one day. Not luxury. No clock, no pen or paper to write with. They don't refill soap or give you any conditioner. We got a deluxe double and the tub was a regular tub with jets, not the one in the photos. If you like AC leave the card in the slot or it will go off while you are gone. We were there in August and came back to a hot room. We are from FL so I do know what hot is. Like I said it was clean, but besides that nothing special.

Lovely area, everything neqar by. The taxi can not access the hotel street, but it's a short walk. I loved booking the spa area for 1.5 hour each day as it was very hot outside and it was a welcome and refreshing time. I have to say the cleaning agents and aromomatic wicks used at the hotel gave 2 of us a headache. It's too strong for my liking. .

Great location with lots of shopping and excellent cafes and restaurants. The spa was a great way to relax and unwind. Nice decor and comfortable bed. The hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. On the downside, the bedroom was small with insufficient room to store luggage.

Everything was great. , staff were perfect! No joke. Safe , secure belongings . No issues except thinking I needed to call from USA and the time difference , which I didn’t need to as they respond to messages and offer assistance as they can.

Great little gem of a hotel!!
We loved our stay at the Boutique Relais, it is close to everything, but very quiet at night. The hotel is very clean and cozy, the staff are super helpful. We would stay there again for sure.

This was the perfect quaint boutique hotel in the old part of Rome. Easy walking to all major sights and pleasant surprises at every turn. Guests now enjoy a bonus of limited access for 1 1/2 hours free spa time per day of stay by reservation, a welcome amenity that cost extra in the past. The front desk staff was superb, friendly and very helpful. My room was ready when I arrived after a long transatlantic flight at 10:30 am. They also arranged airport and train station transfers that were very courteous and punctual. I am even coming back for two days after my 10 day visit to Florence. I could go on and on about this little gem in the heart of Rome but suffice to say if you like small and quaint, you cannot go wrong choosing this for your stay again and again. Bellísimo!
