They charge more when you left without notice
when reserved my room I chose pay at property and when I arrieved they already had charged my debit card which is complicated because I wanted to pay in cash. Now I got back and found out that they made another charge to my credit card without explanation and I don´t know why. Breakfast was bad, the only good was the coffee machine. Hotel is really old but nice and clean and in a Metro station at the door. If you can not stay downtown its a good place to stay but whatch out your credit card.

Good location with easy access to Metro. Small room but good price. The only issue we had is the rooms were supposed to have air conditioning, but the staff said it broke the day we arrived.

Intanto sarebbe stato meglio non nascondersi dietro l'anonimato così avremmo saputo a chi rispondere cercando la camera che le è stata assegnata. Comunque siamo spiacenti che non abbia gradito il soggiorno.

Very Good Base for the money.
Arrived late Friday night which happened to be first night of face masks in public being abolished and the opening of nightclubs etc in Italy. Booked 3 nights at this hotel through sports booking agent World Choice Sports to watch the 6 nation Rugby. We decided to book an extra night through Hotels.com as flights cheaper to fly home a day later. 24 hr reception very accommodating and let us keep same room for the 4 nights even though we had 2 seperate bookings. Room a little dated but clean and even though we told hotel it wasnt necessary they came in and cleaned our room every day and changed towels and bed etc. Even though hotel room was on 4th floor the double glazing isn't the best. Our room overlooked the main square outside and was very noisy the first night. We worried this would be like this all weekend but it turned out to be ok as it was just excessively noisy outside that night due to people celebrating their freedom. Queen sized bed very comfortable and perfect for us as it was a lovely firm mattress. Cannot comment on breakfast as we didnt partake, but be warned as No Tea/Coffee facilities in room, so we took our own aswell as a travel kettle. Nice touch providing room with a mini fridge though. Reception English speaking and helpful. WiFi worked very well. Metro station right outside the front of the hotel and so easy to use to get around and visit the sights. Colosseum only around 5 stops away and no changing of trains en route. Would recommend as basic 3* base

Il fatto che lei abbia prenotato con la colazione e che sia andato via dopo aver fatto i suoi comodi la sera stessa non le permette di dire che il personale è antipatico e non collaborativo solo perchè non le ha offerto qualcosa in alternativa, non è colpa nostra se è andato via prima. Faceva più bella figura a stare zitto e ha fatto bene a non rendere pubblico il suo nome, quando si prenotano camere senza pernottamento come fa lei (non è stata la prima volta quindi il personale lo conosceva già ma torna comunque spesso a trovarci) di solito si ha molto più del nome da nascondere.

L’accoglienza non è stata ottima il letto queen size sono 2 letti singoli uniti con 2 materassi da una piazza , nessuno ci ha aiutato o chiesto aiuto per le borse. Un ascensore ti porta su per ogni piano ed è piccolissimo in più ci hanno detto che la camera non è stata pagata e ci stanno richiedendo i soldi della camera pagata ad Expedia oltre ad aver pagato un extra di 15€ per una notte per il cane di piccola taglia ed un extra di 4€ a persona.

Gentile cliente, tutti gli hotel hanno letti singoli per poter accontentare tutte le tipologie di clienti e abbiamo appena cambiato i materassi quindi sono molto comodi. L'ascensore è normalissimo e per il trasporto dei bagagli l'hotel non ha scale quindi non capisco la difficoltà e comunque se avesse chiesto di essere aiutato nessuno le avrebbe detto di no. Se ha pagato due volte la camera deve solo mandarci la prova del doppio addebito e le verrà restituito l'importo ma credo non sia così altrimenti avrebbe insistito. Per il cane c'è scritto che gli animali sono ammessi con pagamento di un supplemento e i 4 euro di cui parla sono le tasse di soggiorno che sono obbligatorie da anni ormai quindi prima di diffamare qualcuno si informi Una recensione anonima la dice lunga sul tipo di persona...quindi mi fermo qui.

LA METRO ... E NIENTE PIÙ
La cosa migliore di questo hotel è la posizione strategica avendo la metro B giusto all'uscita proprio sotto al palazzo dove è ubicato al 4 piano. L'hotel è datato, le camere singole sono molto piccole con spazio appena sufficiente a muoversi, la moquette non fa impazzire si nota la sua usura, la mia doccia non era il top non si reggeva e l'acqua ristagnava nel piatto doccia. Il peggio è stato avere fuori al balcone un motore enorme del condizionamento che faceva un rumore pazzesco tutta la notte. Per fortuna ero di passaggio e sono andato via alle 5 del mattino. Spero che queste non siano le camere riservate a HOTELS.COM.

gentile cliente, non abbiamo camere "riservate" a nessuno, per noi i clienti sono tutti uguali, indipendentemente da dove effettuano la prenotazione, ci dispiace non abbia gradito la grandezza della camera ma sono singole per questo più piccole delle doppie altrimenti non avrebbe senso e comunque rispettano le normative per gli hotel. Per quanto riguarda il condizionatore ha ragione alcune camere hanno i motori sul balcone ma alcuni clienti non lo sentono ad altri da fastidio ma bastava chiedere un cambio e l'avremmo spostata volentieri in un'altra camera disponibile. Close to the metro on a budget
I stayed at Hotel Laura due to the reasonable price and the proximity to the metro. It was insanely close to the bologna B metro stop, not the best area to see the touristic sites but perfect for a short trip to Rome for an interview. The single room was small, but just what I needed. Housekeeping also took my bed spread and spare blanket-but when I asked the front desk for help they provided me with blankets. The shower was nice water pressure and hot, all though the bathroom was missing a few tiles. Overall, as a young solo traveler on a budget-this was a fine option. The street was a little noisy, but the building was quiet and the building was so close to the metro I felt safe even alone at night. There were also people out on the street-but the 24/7 reception make me feel safe.
