kamer apart en gezellig ingericht
Kamer lag aan straatkant schuin boven 2 barretjes. Tot zeer laat veel lawaai, ook vh verkeer, vuilnisophaal ed. Begint al heel vroeg in de ochtend. Slapen alleen mogelijk met raam dicht en oordoppen in. Met raam dicht gauw benauwd in de kamer. Wel airco aanwezig maar daar moet je tegen kunnen. Kamer grappig ingericht en schoon, ook sanitair oke. Echt jammer van de herrie. Er waren wel andere kamers ad achterkant en die zullen qua temperatuur en gehorigheid goed te doen zijn.

Leuk goed bereikbaar appartement
L'artistico is een geen gewoon hotel. Je huurt een appartement in verzorgd appartementen complex. Het appartement is schoon echter qua inrichting aan de donkere kant. Ook is het niet comfortabel voor 4 volwassenen, te klein maar goed uit te houden voor een kort verblijf (wij verbleven 5 nachten). De rioollucht die uit de afvoerputten kwam hebben we kunnen verhelpen door een nat servet erop te leggen. De contactpersoon is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt kon worden genuttigd in twee cafes naast het complex. Dit viel tegen. Er was geen organisatie. Bij de 1 kregen we een ander ontbijt. Soms verwachtte men dat we afrekenden en het viel ons ook op dat andere gasten ander ontbijt kregen voorgeschoteld.

One of the worst travel experiences
One of my worst travel experiences. The hotel doesn't not have a front desk so you are literally on your own most times of the day. I had booked the room with breakfast, after inquiring for breakfast the owner said they had stopped the breakfast facility now. So we ended up spending on breakfast daily. The bidet in the washroom was leaking and there was a cockroach in the room. I would not recommend this place to anyone

Cara signora, lei non rispetta la verità, a dir poco, io vi ho incontrate e salutate tutti i giorni !!! Il bagno lo avete allagato non chiudevate bene il rubinetto non sapendo usare il doccino, infatti non è mai accaduto a nessun altro ! per il bacarozzo non mi avete detto nulla, ci sono le telecamere nella struttura, ero li tutti i giorni che rientravate dalle vostre passeggiate..lo avete scritto per danneggiarci, penso che faremo una denuncia, la colazione era nella vostra camera tutti i giorni, e non capisco perchè saremmo dovuti essere li tutto il tempo , non siamo un Hotel ! Siete adulte, non dovevamo tenervi compagnia!! Quando fate la prenotazione scritto che non c'è una reception ! Se desideravate compagnia potevate prenotare altrove, non facciamo baby sitting a persone adulte.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist top! Der Vatikan ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Metro und Busse fahren in unmittelbarer Nähe. Restaurants und Bars sind ebenfalls in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Zimmer ist klein, was nicht weiter stören würde. Allerdings ist es total vollgestellt und große Bilder sind vor Ecken gestellt, in denen sich Gerümpel befindet. Das Frühstück ist eine Zumutung. Wenn man eine Übernachtung mit Frühstück bucht, hat man gewisse Vorstellungen. Was gar nicht geht, sind abgepackte süße Teile, abgepackter Zwieback und abgepacktes Knäckebrot. Wenn man schon so ein spartanisches Frühstück auf dem Zimmer bekommt, sollte es wenigstens morgens eine Brötchentüte an der Türe sein, die mit FRISCHEN Brötchen befüllt ist. Die Rezeption ist nur besetzt, wenn einer anreist. Danach haben wir keinen Menschen mehr gesehen...

Cara signora, quando fate la prenotazione dovreste accuratamente leggere tutte le informazioni riguardo la struttura che scegliete, infatti è chiaro che noi non abbiamo reception ! Negli orari in cui ci siamo è quando gli ospiti ci si augura siano usciti , per fare le pulizie delle stanze, la colazione è scritto in cosa consiste, poteva scegliere altra struttura, no lamentarsi dopo !

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage und verspricht ein Erlebnis. Es ist alternativ und sehr gemütlich. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet: super Bett, Bad war sauber, Küchen- und Essbereich (Tisch mit Frühstück, Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank), schöne Kästen und Kommoden, schöne Deko, bei den Steckdosen muss man aufpassen - das Hotel hat aber Adapter. Beim Auschecken war eine andere Mitarbeiterin als an den anderen Tagen da - die war sehr unfreundlich. Die Dame, die an den anderen Tagen da war (Check-in,...) war allerdings sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem für den guten Preis ein wirklich sehr schrulliges und feines Hotel, vom dem man rasch in viele Richtungen Roms kommt.

Noi abbiamo alloggiato in una stanza B&b con entrata indipendente, molto comodo. La stanza era ampia, forse un po' troppo accessoriata con cose inutili, ma bella nel complesso, la finestra si affaccia su piazza Risorgimento. Inoltre la camera aveva una porta (oltre a quella di ingresso) con uno specchio davanti che probabilmente portava in un'altra stanza, nessuno ci ha dato fastidio a parte che chi alloggia a in quella stanza fumava dentro con le finestre chiuse, perciò in camera nostra c'era sempre puzza di fumo. Il letto era comodissimo e molto grande, bagno idem (mi aspettavo solo qualche shampoo e bagnoschiuma) vi si trova solo sapone per le mani in grande quantità. Su 6 prese di corrente ne funzionavano solo 2. Da tenere in considerazione che la posizione è ottima per visitare Roma, ma chi ha bisogno di silenzio per dormire chieda la stanza interna e non quella che dà sulla piazza in quanto di sera c'è festa fino a tardi.

Bed and breakfast all'interno di un palazzo storico di Roma, in pieno centro, di fronte alle mura di cinta del Vaticano. Camere simpatiche e pulite con tantissimi oggetti di arredo e bagno privato. La colazione viene fornita direttamente in stanza, c'erano fette biscottate, marmellata e nutella, biscotti, brioches, plumcake, succhi, yogurt e latte, bottigliette di acqua, tè e caffè. Poiché siamo arrivati dopo le 16, non c'era nessuno alla reception e le chiavi le abbiamo trovate al bar al civico a fianco (come comunicato per mail). Per tutto il fine settimana non abbiamo incontrato nessuno del personale della struttura, ma la camera è stata rifatta e pulita quando noi siamo usciti. Nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene, sia per la struttura (letto comodo, televisione e abbastanza spazio per i bambini) sia per l'ottima posizione. Di sicuro ci tornerei volentieri!

Návštěva Říma,krása ..hotel určitě neni romantickým místem ,je vhodný na přepsání ,žádnou romantiku ani krásné romantické prostředí zde nenajdete.Snidaně sice v ceně ,ale kupte si neco svého pokud jste zvykli rano snídat na pokoji ..žádný bohatý raut nikde nečekejte,pokoj je chaoticky a těžko popsatelný,zasuvky někdy šly a někdy se jim zase nechtelo :) Sluzby restaurací jsou určitě dražší nez u nás v ČR .Misto hotelu je v pohodě jste v podstatě na blízku všem památkám .Co jsme ušetřili na ubytování tak jsme utratili v Římě a restauracích .

Vážená paní, měli byste si přečíst lépe a vybrat si něco vhodnějšího pro zážitek, který jste chtěli mít. Náš hotel není hotel, je dobře specifikováno, co nám nabízí nebo nemůže nabídnout! Na požádání vám byl poskytnut pokoj (s výhledem na město) odlišný od rezervovaného pokoje. Kdyby chtěl tuto atmosféru s více službami; velmi dobře ví, že by tak nízkou cenu nezaplatil! Znáte ceny v Římě, které nejsou rovnocenné zemi, ze které pocházíte, kde jsou životní náklady mnohem nižší! Prostě si přečtěte!

L'établissement est situé sur une grand place, mais les chambres sont très calme. Très bonne literie. Nous n'avons pas aimé le petit déjeuner industrielle (croissants emballé sous vide,...) et pour le pays ou on boit du bon café, pour le petit déjeuner c'était du Néscafé. A manger sur une table basse

La camera è al primo piano di un lussuoso palazzo a poche centinaia di metri dall'ingresso dei Musei Vaticani. Dalla finestra è ben visibile la Cupola della Basilica di San Pietro. Per chi ama camminare (ma anche per chi non ne fosse particolarmente portato) si possono raggiungere facilmente a piedi tutti i principali monumenti del centro storico.

Decide how much you want to pay.
It's not a hotel as you might expect. There are several rooms in a larger building shared by other people and businesses. We arrived early evening but had already had an email that no-one would be there at "reception" so we had to pick up the keys from the café next door. The instructions for the rooms were not totally clear so the café owner had to call a lady out to explain the instructions. Continental breakfast was very minimal. It was individually wrapped cakes and toast and crackers in a wicker basket with the sachets of tea and coffee with milk and some 200ml cartons of fruit juice, (the ones with the little straws strapped to the sides that you buy for the kids !) butter and preserves in the fridge with 2 x 500ml bottles of water in there, too, for when you arrive. Location is good for the Vatican museum and St.Peter's square.

El hotel es bonito y bien situado
Mi experiencia al principio fue mala, me pusieron en una habitacion de otro hotel de en frente de muy mala calidad, y tuve que dormir ahí una noche hasta que expedia solucionó mi problema y me cambiaron a la habitación del hotel que yo realmente había reservado, L'Artistico, y era muy bonita y muy limpia. Sin embargo, te informan de que tiene contratado el desayuno con un bar cercano, pero a mi me dieron algunos alimentos para desayunar en la habitación.

Nice place for the price, great location
We enjoyed our stay. The location was good as we wanted to tour the Vatican and it was very close to buses and fairly close to a Metro station. It was comfortable and nice for the price. The streets nearby offered nice cafes for meals. Checking in was a bit complex as we arrived after their office closed at 2 p.m., so be prepared for that.

Strong cigarette smell in the no smoking room.
There were a strong cigarette smell in the room. The bathroom and toilet has a strange smell as well and it is built with transparent doors. No privacy! Simple breakfast in a restaurant two blocks away from the hostel. Location is good.

Gem near Vatican
It was perfect for my 7 night stay. Great for the budget and the location excellent with many modes of transport to get around Rome.Loved it and will stay there again. Only problem some people may have is the walls are paper thin. I lived in NY for many years so not an issue. And when they say limited housekeeping they mean none. But if I had needed anything they would have obliged.

Tout s'est bien passé. Si ce n'est qu' il faudrait préciser qu'il s'agit d'un B&B, que le petit déjeuner se prend de l' autre coté de la place ( très sympa aussi ceci dit), et que pour les arrivées tardives, c'est 10€ de l' heure à partir de 22h.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, jedes Zimmer hat ein anderes Design mehrere Zimmer haben einen Blick zum Vatican City, jedoch nicht alle Zimmer haben ihn! Es gibt zwei Teile von dem Hotel (eher Bed & Breakfast Concept). Jedes Teil verfügt eine Gemeinschaftsküche auch sehr lasch aussieht aber sehr bequem und cool ist. Die Küche war mein Highlight in der Nacht. Internet Verbindung wird in dem Part 1 mit drei WLAN und im Part 2 mit einer WLAN hergestellt. Die Verbindungen sind ab und so on und off. Wenn das WLAN off ist oder keine Internet Verbindung hat, bitte einfach das Modem aus- und einschalten; es hilft.

Ups & downs. Amazing location outside NE wall of Vatican. Internet only worked 1 of 4 days we stayed, & staff didn't attempt to fix. Bathrooms have GLASS WALLS, except for small strip of etched glass in shower. Rooms & views nice (3 of 4 facing the Vatican wall & tram/bus square; 4th a simple courtyard). Bars w/ patios are beneath rooms, & noise travels in windows until 1am'ish- especially Fri/Sat. Complimentary breakfast is a complete meal, however must be obtained 1 block away at partnering cafe. Only 1 of our room outlets worked w/ adaptor. Fantastic common area in S rooms wing, but when hostel's full, owner rents it out as a room. "Toiletries provided"= liquid soap. Cheap dining/shops near. Someone's almost always in office, if you knock. Not a typical, social, hostel, moreover a decent place to rent a room.

No lo recomendaría!
Tenia mal olor la habitación cuando llegamos. Te entregan llaves entonces esto genera sensación de inseguridad. EL RUIDO NO DEJA DORMIR estuvimos en la habitación que frente a la calle y abajo en el primer piso hay restaurantes y bares entonces se siente ruido toda, toda la noche y en la mañana todos los días pasa un carro recolector de basura y también sientes el ruido porque justo al frente tienen 3 contenedores grandes entonces no se logra descansar en la noche. Estuvimos durante 3 días y no hicieron aseo ningún día. Está ubicado en un segundo piso. Si quieres utilizar el ascensor es viejo y lento. El desayuno es un desastre total, te dan una tarjeta para ir a un restaurante que está ubicado diagonal a unos 150 metros en un restaurante llamado Anni' 70 el cual es pésimo en su comida y su servicio es peor, cuando les enseñas las tarjetas, inmediatamente se les nota el desagrado y el primer día uno de los meseros solo ofreció parte del disponible del desayuno, aunque no lo recomiendo. Es muy, muy mal sitio para desayunar en definitiva y esto hace muy mala la experiencia. La habitación que utilizamos no tenía caja fuerte entonces la sensación de inseguridad es muy alta. En el hotel hay un señor que solo trabaja hasta las 6 de la tarde, en general es amable y te ayuda con agrado. Concluyendo, el hotel tiene ubicación esto es lo único que rescatamos porque se encuentra a menos de una cuadra del Vaticano. Cuando regrese a Roma, buscare otro hotel.

Não se trata de um hotel, sequer uma pousada. É um albergue. A recepção funciona das 8:30h às 14:30h. Não há suporte algum fora desse horário. Em nosso check out, uma segund-feira, 10h, não havia ninguém na recepção e entregamos as chaves ao porteiro do prédio. Sim, o suposto hotel fica em um prédio mal conservado, no primeiro andar. Na verdade são kitchnetes, sem cozinha. Tivemos a péssima experiência de ter que tomar banho com água congelante, porque não o sistema de aquecimento não funcionava e como a recepção estava fechada, não havia o que fazer ou a quem recorrer. Não há lugares sequer para pendurar as toalhas de banho. Encontramos almofadas sujas. O sinal de internet é péssimo. A única vantagem é a localização, perto da estação Ottaviano do metro e do Vaticano. No mais, horrível.

Can't sleep here! Forced to pay additional tax.
Too noisy so all family couldn't sleep for outside and inside (people drinking&smoking shared kitchen) as well. Also they forced to pay additional tax, though Hotels.com say clearly no payment left. If you don't wanna sleep, you can stay here. Also they didn't clean room and change towels in 2nd day. Usually no staff on duty, so couldn't ask any. The worst hotel experience in Hotels.com for many years. First time to comment this bad review on Hotels.com.

Avec 5h de retard sur notre avion la propriétaire nous a gentillement attendus La chambre est propre, la Deco dans le ton Très bien situé à côté du Vatican et L terminus de différentes lignes de bus se trouve sur la place pour rejoindre tres facilement tous les autres quartiers de Rome Le petit déjeuner se prend sur la place dans un petit Resto. tres bon rapport qualité prix

L'Artistico is L'ovely
We booked L'Artistico based on it's ratings on Hotel.com and on the location of the hotel. It is literally right across the street from the entrance to St. Peter's square and access to all of the city's sights. The hotel is located in a lovely residential building with an lovely artsy, Italian charm. We were able to walk to great neighborhood restaurants and to shopping an site-seeing. Our hotel room was a mixture of modern and rustic and was absolutely lovely. The hotel was equipped with everything we needed and was very comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. My one complaint was that the restaurant next door seemed to be playing music around 2am and the trash and garbage collection also came around 2 am each morning. I was incredibly jet-lagged and could not sleep because of the time difference so I was likely more sensitive to the noise than I normally would be. But, other than that, we had a great experience and will definitely recommend the hotel to our friends/family and will be staying there for our next visit to Rome.

Nice fun place to stay
Very hip modern hotel with an artistic theme. Across the road from the Vatican which was why I chose it. Great restaurants below them. Unfortunately, restaurants stay open late with loud drunk bar patrons, so didn't get good sleep. Management has just opened new section so took me a while to find my room, get keys and get situated. If you arrive after 2:30 you need to go across the park to the restaurant Anni '70 to get your keys, not to #19 Piazza del Risorgimento.

Clean and comfortable
We stayed 3 nights in the double room. It was comfortable stay in a quieter part of Rome. In walking distance to vatican and underground station. The desk could be staffed a little more often as no one was there when we checked out at 8am - luckily had already payed city tax on check in. Shared bathroom was clean and seemed to be cleaned often. The included breakfast at a nearby cafe was fine and simple (croisant and coffee). We had some noise from people upstairs, but overall pretty quiet. You may bet Nice place to stay for a few nights.

Habiamos visto en algunos comentarios que era dificil encontrar el hotel especialmente si llegabas fuera de horario, pero gracias a eso preguntamos bien, y fue bien facil. La habitacion estaba impecable y con los requisitos que habiamos solicitado, San Pietro esta literalmente en frente y para el Vaticano esta a unos 500 metros. El subte esta a 5 cuadras y haciendo combinacion con dos lineas llegas al Coliseo. Nos trataron super bien tanto Antonella durante los pasos de reserva como Mimi una vez que llegamos. Mimi fue de una gran ayuda, se esforzo para que todo fuera facil, donde comer, como movernos, que hacer y que no hacer. Nos sugirio varios lugares para comer y para ir. Recomiendo 100% este B&B. Ah! El desauyno te dan un vale para comer un desayuno simple, pero rico abajo.

Very traditional Italian apartment.
This is not your 'Best Western', this is truly living like an Italian. Checking into the apartment is a bit confusing, and learning how to unlock the door took some time, as it was very old. The room was clean and unique. Beautiful trompe l'oeil on the walls. The location was perfect. While there was some confusion regarding getting clean towels, the true Italian atmosphere was present. There were nice restaurants within steps of our building. If you were to walk a short distance you could eat in a truly non-pedestrian restaurant, were all the guests spoke only Italian, and the food and wine were excellent. It also was walking distance to the Vatican. As long as you are not expecting a Best Western, you are in for a great room and a great time. I would return to this room again.

All in all very good. The reception named antonella even gave us a slipper... It is just the breakfast start only at 7:30. Hope that could be early as general mass with Pope every Wed needs to be early... There was only one waitress girl in Vizi & Stravizi resto the one provide meal downstair when I ask for her to take a picture she said gave me a tip ok. for me kind abrupt and rude. But the rest of waiter is nice. The Hotel is very near in Vatican... If you want to see the Pope this is the best place to stay. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay at L'artistico.

Great Place, Great Price
I received a warm welcome, the room was just as the pictures show it but were actually bigger! They had proper towels (I mention this because one hotel were really poor), the place was clean and well looked after. I liked that they had art hanging about everywhere and would have loved to have stayed more than one night!!!
