Prima B&B
Prima prijs kwaliteit B&B. Het is even lopen naar de metro. Je moet de badkamer delen maar daar hebben wij geen last van gehad. De eigenaars zijn erg vriendelijk.

Super séjour à Rome , l'hôte fut super dès notre arrivé avec beaucoup d'explications sur la ville (proximité des commerces et des gares) et carte à l'appui. Petit déjeuner simple dans le café du coin , viennoiserie au choix et boisson chaude compris dans la réservation . (Prévoir supplément si jus de fruits ou autres...) Bémol à l'intention de l'hôte : Écrire partout de ne pas faire de bruit (entrée , sortie, porte etc...) cependant montage de meuble dès 7h... réception de clients à 4h du matin ... Pas trop cool ... personne n'y peut rien certes... mais bon .. moyen :-( En résumé , allez à Rome car La ville En vaut le détour (Vatican , Colisée , Forum Romain, Mont Palatin , rues , architectures et j'en passe ! Mais conseil , choisissez bien votre location :-) Bon séjour à tous :-)))

L'hôtel était un peu décevant car ce n'était pas un hotel mais plutôt un appartement ou le proprio loue les chambres. Elles sont mal insonorisées et on entend tout ce qu'il se passe dehors. La salle de bain est commune et le petit déjeuner se prend dans un cafe à 3min à pied. Le petit dej est composé d'un cafe et d'une viennoiserie. L'hôtel est loin du metro 12bonnes minutes à pied. Le propriétaire ne parle pas français et tres mal anglais. Gros problème d'eau chaude je n'ai pu prendre une vraie douche qu'après un jour et demi.

Clarifying review-read carefully
First of all,this is NOT a hotel but an apartment with 3 rooms (+1 of owner) which have 1 SHARED bathroom. I am giving very low review as i feel a bit stolen from "hotel" and other reviewers. The room has a bed, which is old, has old windows (all the noise outside is inside), does not have a minibar,does not have a working TV, does not have a coffee machine, does not have a fridge (only 1 shared), does not promise hot water to wash and even does not have slippers(funny right). All of these are posted in "hotel" information as existing amenities. If you are planning to go during the summer, dont, as there is no air condition. The owner was good and helpful but some things should be really cleared for the clients before booking a room there. The location was not bad, outside of the busy touristic Rome and the price can be considered good but definitely it is not a place to stay for more than 1 night.

No breakfast at the hotel, you only get tickets to have a coffee and one pastry at a ice cream maker nearby (don't forget to take money whith you in order to buy your fruit juice, which is not included). No room cleaning and no change of towels (unless you pay an extra 5 for a clean towel and 15 for room cleaning, so depending on how long you stay, you must add that to your bill, as well as an extra 3€50 per day of stay, Roma city tax)

Lovely B&B
We had a great stay in this B&B. The room was simple but spotlessly clean. The Hotel was in a great location, a bit of a walk into the centre but not too far if you are ok walking. There was also loads of bars and restaurants around the hotel and it had a lovely local feel. The owner was away while we were there but there was a lovely lady there to help us (as well as a kind man from the shop next door). Because he was away, the breakfast wasn't served in the hotel but we were given vouchers to get a lovely croissant and coffee in a little bakery just across the road, which was even better. I would recommend this hotel if you want a simple, clean and comfortable base to explore the city from.

4/5. almost 3. Service is good. attentive. it's Bed and breakfast BUT if you stay in a middle room (out of 3) you will be surprised how Hard bad is. and breakfast consists of only coffee and 1 pastry. so it's not really a B&B but a room for hire.

wonderful stay!
Beautiful, intimate and small. Clean, friendly. Located 10 minutes walk from the Colosseum. Owners are sweet, hospitable, eager to help. Communication with the owner via email before the stay was good (highly responsive). We had a late check out confirmed with no extra charge. Two adults and one child. The extra bed was comfortable and the room was all set for us on time. Breakfast is small but fresh, clean and tasty. Everything one could expect and more. We had a great stay and highly recommend it. Hope to go back soon!!

Wrong Number!
I had the worst experience of my life. I didn't get to the hotel until after midnight because it was far away from the airport.. I called and the number expedia provided was the wrong number. I was able to get inside the building, rang the doorbell but they didn't open the dooor. So I ended up staying in the street my first night in Rome alone. It was pouring rain, if it wasn't for a nice guy that gave me a place to stay for the night, I don't know what I would've done. I didn't get refunded for the night that I didn't sleep there, which is really unfair. Everything is very far away from this place. The rooms are on the fifth floor of the building and there is no parking anywhere if you have a rental car. It's better if you just take the metro. I took the metro everywhere while I was in Rome, finding parking is a nightmare. The only thing that I liked is that they had wifi, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner was nice, but not nice enough to refund me for the night that I didn't stay there.

first in the ceck was scheduled at 6.30 p.m. as was expected both on the expedia site and is on our site. She had been contacted via email but we have not received an answer. The number you dialed does not exist, so it was not our fault. She and 'arrived at the hotel in no time garrison. Sorry for all this, but we have no responsibility. As for the location please note that we are only 5 minutes from the thermal baths of Caracalla and only 10 minutes from the colosseum, so our position is certainly at the center of Rome. As for the night we did not we are not responsible. I told her to contact expedia. Indeed I was certainly close to her to resolve the problems. Rodinny hotel se skvelymi majiteli
Malicky hotel o trech pokojich a sdilenou koupelnou 15 min od Colossea, 20 min od nejblizsi metro stanice. Hotel byl velice uklizeny, pokoje kazdy den ciste, rano jednoducha snidane(kava,caj,cerealie, jogurt, toast nebo croissant). Pani majitelka byla velmi vstricna, otevrela nam ve 3,30am(zpozdene lety), rozumi cesky, polsky, italsky a trosku anglicky, takze se snad vzdy domluvite :) i pres ne moc veselou prihodu se zemetresenim v poslednim dnu naseho pobytu, kdy se nas pani majitelka snazila udrzet v klid, bych se do hotelu La stella di Roma urcite rada vratila. Cena odpovida kvalite a pro ty, co prijedou cestovat a poznavat, je toto misto na prespani uplne idealni:)

Práctico y bien calidad/precio
Personas que lo regentan muy majas y atentas.. Habitación buena y espaciosa, pero ruido exterior a la hora de dormir y a veces algo de cola para usar el baño. El resto muy bien.

False advertising, but ok hotel
We stayed here in early September when it was still 88F in Rome. There was no air conditioning in the room and the ceiling fan could only be used at the low setting or else it vibrated dangerously. The location was nice since we're not afraid of walking all the way to the Spanish steps, but the restaurants below on the street corners are very loud till about 2 am while motorcycles rev down the street all night long. The breakfast is mediocre: juice, some pastries, coffee and yogurt. All in all I wouldn't stay here again.

Boendet på Stella di Roma är en mycket prisvärd upplevelse. Ett bed and breakfast i det övre skiktet. För den som inte tycker att ljud från gatan är jättejobbigt - varm rekommendation!

Hotel with three large rooms on the fourth floor of a building which by the way it's a bit difficult to find. Anyway the staff is great, Magdalena, the Polish woman on the front desk was so sympathetic, polite and helpful, so was Mario who owns the place, very nice guy.The bathroom is shared, but the room itself totally pays off, it's big for European standards and comfortable. It's quite near the Colosseum and nearby attractions. I highly recommend it.

The Princess Room
My friend and I stayed at this wonderful place recently while backpacking Europe. We stayed in a very cute room we nicknamed the Princess room. The couple that run the place use their own home as a Bed & Breakfast, they are wonderful people and keep the rooms very clean. I noticed they have 3 rooms total that they rent out and Share one large bathroom between the 3 rooms.

Accoglienza e disponibilità all'ordine del giorno.
Sono stato in questo hotel in febbraio, e purtroppo per motivi personali dell'ultima ora ho dovuto annullare questo soggiorno (infatti ho scritto una recensione di accoglienza della struttura riferendomi erroneamente a questa prenotazione). Mi son trovato da subito benissimo, i gestori del locale sono a dir poco splendidi: con loro è come essere a casa propria :) credo proprio di poterci ritornare al più presto, infatti ho prenotato la stessa struttura per questo motivo, ovvero per l'accoglienza e l'attenzione che viene rivolta. Direi quindi che meritano 5 stelle +

Super friendly B&B in a nice safe neighbourhood
Was very pleasantly surprised when we found this little gem. Guests are actually encouraged to have breakfast on the bed, but you'd never know because the rooms are kept very clean and tidy. Breakfast is very nice, you get a big piece of pastry with the usual toast and yoghurt/fruit, and there is a coffee machine. You also get to eat out of cookie jars! Decor in the B&B is beautiful. The couple who runs the place is very friendly and helpful, knowledgeable about everything ranging from cheap restaurants serving authentic Italian to location of ATM machines nearby. It was because of them that we got to try some of the best cappuccinos in Rome. Even gave us a piece of chocolate as a goodbye gift ;) The neighbourhood around the B&B is relaxed, friendly and safe, and though it might be a bit far from some of the sightseeing attractions, it is only about 15-20 minutes walk away from the Coloseum. Would definitely recommend if you prefer a more local setting and cheaper food around your stay, or will take the metro or the bus anyway to explore the city.

Amazing B&B in the heart of Rome
I am not one to stay at B&B's but i must say this was amazing. We got an excellent feel for what its like to live in Rome. The B&B is on the fourth floor. a good spacious room with its own charm. it really made our stay all the more memorable. it was a bout a 30 min walk to attractions such as the colosseum and San Giovani which gave us the opportunity to stumble upon other Roman treasures. the room was clean and the very very well looked after. The family who own it were absolutely amazing! they went there and beyond for us and even gave us a lift to the Train station at 4am! which they didnt have to do but we appreciated so so much. When I return to Rome I will definitely be staying here again and I recommend it to all!

Jättesnäll och hjälpsam personal, billiga och rena rum. Personalen ställde upp med att kl 4 på morgonen köra oss till flygbussen. Det är en bit att gå, 20-30 min, in till centrum, men inget som påverkar vistelsen.

Ottimo / Parfait !
Nous avons réservé sur Expedia ce B&B pour lequel (connaissant un peu les B&B italiens) nous ne savions pas trop à quoi nous attendre. Quelle ne fut pas notre surprise ! Situé en plein centre ville, proche du métro San Giovanni et à 15 minutes à pied du Colisée, cet B&B que l'on peut qualifier de véritable hôtel était juste parfait. Pour commencer les gérants qui sont d'une extrême gentillesse donnent à ce B&B une atmosphère très familiale. La chambre, la salle de bain, le couloir tout est très propre. Les petits déjeuner sont bons et copieux (même s'il on prend un risque à déjeuner les derniers :) ) Le WIFI est gratuit et d'une excellente qualité. Notre chambre n'était pas la plus grande mais pourtant très spacieuse. Les serviettes sont fournies et la chambre refaite durant la journée ! Bref un rapport qualité/prix imbattable (seulement 60€ en ce mois d'avril) avec un service exceptionnel. A prévoir, du liquide pour payer la note car ils ne prennent pas la carte et aucun transfert via le site de réservation. Nous recommandons donc ce B&B sans hésitation ! Lovely B&B with family atmosphere. I have already recommended it to all my friends. Just loved it. Living in residential area gives you to feel like Italian for a couple of days! Really nice experience. Once again: thank you Magda and Mario and you are very welcomed in Northern Ireland!

Wonderful stay with great hosts
Our stay at the B&B was wonderful. The location was a little out of the way but only a 15 minute walk to the nearest metro station. Our hosts were very sweet and gave us great service including a great breakfast. They did not speak much English but it went just fine! We really enjoyed our stay here.

Kleines B&B in Laufnähe zum Colosseum
Wir fühlten uns wohl in diesem familiären Bed & Breakfast. Leider konnten wir nicht viel mit der netten Familie sprechen, da ihr Englisch genauso wenig ausreichend wie unser Italienisch war, aber für die Unterkunft selbst war das keine Schwierigkeit. Die Dame hat sogar tagsüber die Zimmer gereinigt, es war schon Hotel Athmosphäre. Frühstück für italienische Verhältnisse sehr üppig mit Croissants, Weißbrot, Obst, Saft und Joghurt. Das Bad sehr sauber. Zimmer recht laut, daher keine vollen Sterne. Man ist in 13 Minuten bei der MEA und im antiken Teil Roms.
