I was on the 3rd floor suite. It was the best room with a breathtaking view of the Vatican. Super cozy and the jacuzzi was awesome. I am disabled, and Andre was so kind and helpful. He helped me with my luggage to my room, recommended me to one of the best restaurants ive even eaten at near by. He was very professional and kind. Will return soon with my family. Great location.

Bottled Water should be complimentary daily. Plastic floor covering around very nice bed is awful. Reception staff not very friendly (one was, one was not) shower door would not stay closed creating water on bathroom floor - hazard.

Very well appointed rooms, walkable location, and quite safe. The rooms were a little bit too small however. Beyond that, I would recommend the hotel becauss the staff was responsive and pleasant from day 1.

The hotel is very discreet, which is fine but not extra easy to find. When we got into our room it was filled with ants and mosquitoes. It was put on the first floor so you can smell garden which would most likely cause this. I asked the receptionist to put on the 2nd floor due to that, he stated they didn’t have anything available (although it was only 2 weekdays). He put us in another garden room, filled with mosquitoes! I got at least 10-15 mosquito bites. I told the receptionist the next day and they did nothing about it. So much for celebrating my birthday and 5 year anniversary. Did not enjoy my stay at and it was extremely uncomfortable. Sad because this hotel has a great potential.

Beautiful rooms and a nice breakfast buffet. We enjoyed the AC during the terrible heat wave. Excellent location, close to the train, a few excellent restaurants, and Vatican City. The staff were professional and so helpful. My mother forgot her back back on the last day after we checked out and someone ran down the street to be sure to get it to her!

Pictures of the rooms are a little deceiving. They are very small. The best things about this hotel was the helpful staff, the view of St Peter’s Basilica from the Junior Suite, with Terrace and it’s within walking distance to quite a bit. This boutique hotel is as close to the sleeping quarters of pope Francis as one can imagine. Our room had a balcony and it was spacious and clean. It was quiet and we felt safe there during our stay. The hotel offers breakfasts in its tiny but cosy bar which we found convenient after a long drive to Rome and before our flight home. We will definitely consider this hotel in our future travel plans.

The room was tiny, nowhere to put bags or move around, the wifi did not work, had to carry our luggage down a flight of stairs, hot tub had no water in the suite I paid extra money for. Phone to call reception did not work. Would never stay here again I can NOT believe it has 4 stars.

We would like to give just a bit explaination about your stay issues. As for the wifi, there's was a general blackout from phone service in the area, which is something we can't do anything about but in each room there's a mobile phone completely free of charge and not only you can make calls but also use the hotspot function to provide yourselves with internet. You can always take said mobile phone outside the hotel as it also has guides and maps of the city. As for the phone in the reception not working, precisely since we were affected by this temporary blackout it wasn't available for that day. For the hot tub not working, sadly, we didn't know it was empty during your stay and by the time we realized (since it was only a 1 night stay and you didn't comment anything about it during the check-out) we couldn't do anything for you in terms of compensation. Once again, we are truly sorry you found these little issues during your stay and would love to have the opportunity to show you why our Hotel has 4 stars and it's frequently appreciated by all guests. This amazing boutique hotel is located right next to the southern wall of the Vatican where St. Peter's Square is packed with tourists during the day. But at night, its a short walk from the hotel to the square where you pretty much have the entire space to yourself!

The property is not what it shows in the pictures. The hotel is tiny, everything about it is small. The person who helped us had no initiative, no customer service skills, no knowledge. All of the people in the front desk were mainly lacking that. They don’t take American Express, something they never mentioned before. I provided this card when I checked in, they took the card and put it “on file” but when I checked out and attempted to pay, it wasn’t working. The front desk called his manager and was told they don’t take Amex. This is irresponsible, what if someone doesn’t count on another payment method?!! There are NO amenities in this place. It’s not a HOTEL it is like a Hostal pretty much. The ONLY good thing is that it’s close to the Vatican. I wouldn’t come back nor recommend this place.

In de achtertuin van de Paus
Net boutique hotel, met grote nette kamers. Super fijn dat er slofjes zijn. Dat scheelt weer ruimte in de koffer. Wij waren hier nu voor zaken, maar het hotel ligt echt fantastisch gesitueerd. Zo in de ‘ achtertuin ‘ van de Paus.

Outstanding. If you’re touring Rome you’re going to be walking through, around, and into throngs of thousands of people for hours a day. Coming back here afterwards was like a sanctuary. The grounds are small but relaxing, the staff super cool and helpful, the rooms were a lot bigger than I expected (more than enough for a couple), and that was the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve slept in, hands down. It’s right outside the Vatican gates (complete with dudes with machine guns, which is actually great to have), in a fairly quiet yet bustling area. A walk from the M but still accessible enough to other major attractions (maybe a ten min walk to Ottaviano stop). Hidden gem, great value.

Nydelige dager i toppsuiten (junior suite)!
Vi koste oss veldig i toppsuiten på hotellet med privat balkong og jacuzzi med utsikt til St.Peters domen. Det var uuvurderlig å ha et privat uteområde å trekke seg tilbake i ellers travle og folketette Roma. Hotellrommet var også veldig fint, rent og behagelig. Sengen var god, det var ganske god plass til oppbevaring. Rommet kunne vært større, men det virker som at rommene uten uteplass kanskje er større. Vi synes det var helt behagelig og veldig verdt det med uteplass. Det er en skilledør av frostet glass inn til toalett, bidet og dusj, mens vasken, speilet og skjenken er på utsiden av døren med soverom/gang. Døren til toalettet er åpen under og over og noen kan kanskje synes det er ubehagelig med lite privatliv, bare noe å være obs på. Vi fikk luksus- hotell følelsen av å bo her. Resepsjon og lobby var koselig og lite, men føltes høy standard. Hotellet er generelt lite, men koselig og høy standard. OBS at hvis du skal bo øverst har du privat trappeoppgang, og må bære kofferten i noen trappetrinn ettersom heisen ikke går helt opp dit. Det er heller ikke mulig å komme opp med rullestol e.l. pga trappene. Alt i alt et supert opphold uten noe negativt å si for vår del! Vi storkoste oss. God frokost og god service.
