De locatie van deze accomodatie is prima, zo'n 10 minuten lopen van Vaticaan stad en 30 minuten lopen naar het centrum. De metro is op 5 minuten afstand wat fijn is, zo ben je binnen half uur bij colloseum. Genoeg winkels in de directe omgeving zonder dat het onrustig is. Wij hebben lekker gegeten bij Krugh. De kamer was schoon en het bed lag prima, airco was fijn. De douche was lekker alleen was putje verstopt. Ontbijt vonden wij teleurstellend... Voorverpakte plakjes cheddar als kaas, koude eitjes, fabrieksbrood. Lekker waren de zoete croissantjes maar dan moest je vroeg op anders waren ze op... Nee, dit was niet goed. Wel lekker was de koffie. Qua service welwillend maar niet altijd bereikbaar. Als tip, maak een reservering voor avondeten in restaurants en vraag of receptie contact kan maken met restaurant. Onze ervaring is, geen reservering, geen kans op tafel voor 21.30 uur.

Location; The hotel is well located to the Vatican and metro as well for easy access to the other major sights. Service:Nestle was very helpful in all ways and delivered service with a smile always. Cleanliness: perfect Bed comfort: can be improved. Single Bed was bit too cramp for me. Am slim already but perhaps have expected a bit wider one per photo. All in all tho it was a pleasant stay as rooms are really well kept and tidy.

I enjoyed my time here. Nestle, at the front desk, is particularly helpful. The location is great, particularly for the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica. The Ottaviano Metro stop is about two blocks away. I would stay here again.

I’m not sure I’d call this luxury, but it was perfectly cromulent for what I needed! Everything was clean, the bathroom was lovely. It was just a twin bed, but if you’re traveling alone, that’s all you need. Nestle was lovely at check in.

Nice spot
A very nice room in a beautiful building, especially loved the rickety lift, Nestle at the front desk could not have been more helpful! Location is fantastic as well, not just for the Vatican, but subway, and walking.

Lovely and comfortable room in a central, but not crowded part of the city. Close to the metro station and a number of good bars and restaurants. Although staff were not on site during my very short stay, they provided very clear instructions for self-check-in etc.

Nice location
I stayed in a smaller room that looked stylish and clean. The walls between rooms are quite thin and may need a bit of sound-proofing; I woke up at night to a noisy couple coming in next door. Also, there seemed to be a little water damage in the shower, the tiles look a bit wonky there and the damp smell takes over if you shut the noisy ventilation off for the night. The receptionist is very nice and the area full of nice cafés and restaurants, within walking distance from the metro and bus stops.

Staircase at the lobby was a great setback. No bottled water is provided. It was not near the metro station as people commented. The worst part is they didnt let me change the date one minute after I completed the booking. I was not canceling it. I just needed to change the date. I finally wasted one-night room rate

Hi, I think you got confused with your another accomodation? We are 3 minutes walk from the Metro Ottaviano. We have a minifridge with 4 bottles of water in every room

Rough start happy stay.
The start of my stay was rocky. On the website it says we can check in at 11am. I arrived 9:30am and was told I had to wait until 4:30p to check in. I wouldn’t have mind but, it was cold and pouring down raining. The hotel is in the perfect distance from all attractions. Great neighborhood eateries. The room was clean and fresh towels were provided when asked.

My Fantastic Roman Room and Holiday
Residenza Scipioni is first class all the way. What a fantastic room we had - I like to call it my 'apartment in Rome'! The staff was over-the-top friendly and kind. They were always asking me if they could help me find my way around Rome. Breakfast was always on-time and very good. Plenty of great fresh food to eat and the cappuccino and espresso was outstanding. My 'corner' room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I had the perfect view of St. Peter's Bascillica (Dome). It sure made for some great night-time pictures! Residenza Scipioni is very quiet and located in perfect walking distance to most all of the Rome sites. The 'local' restaurants are very good and authentic. I will definitely stay here again and will recommend Residenza Scipioni to all my family friends. Molto Buona. Squisito!

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights and had a great experience. Our room was clean and comfortable and perfectly located for us as we had plans to visit the Vatican a few times. We could actually see it from our room! Public transportation was close by but we chose to walk everywhere and it was easy to do from here. The daily breakfast was very nice to start each day. Rocco was kind enough to help us make a reservation for the Borghese Gallery and arrange transportation to the airport for us on the morning we left. I would definitely stay here again! Location is perfect for sight-seeing and is easily accessible to metro. But can also walk and do a loop to see everything. Rocco is extremely accommodating.

Super für einen Städtetrip!
Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage und ist zu jeder Uhrzeit super erreichbar. Das Zimmer ist für einen Städtetrip absolut ausreichend. Der Check-In und Check-out lief reibungslos und als im Zimmer ein Problem auftrat, wurde es innerhalb von 10 Minuten behoben. Es besteht die Möglichkeit Koffer am Abreisetag im Hotel zu lassen, was hilfreich war. Die Mitarbeiter sind ein Traum und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Man wurde zu jeder Zeit mit einem Lächeln empfangen und super beraten was den Aufenthalt angeht. Das Frühstück ist eher spartanisch, aber ausreichend. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Rome dans cette belle résidence! Située dans un quartier résidentiel à 2 pas du métro A et du Vatican, nous avons pu nous balader dans Rome en toute simplicité. Quant à la chambre elle est très confortable, les articles de toilettes gratuit sont fournis. Seul bémol notre chambre donnant sur la rue on avait du bruit du à la circulation mais bon cela restait raisonnable puis du bruit comme dans toutes grandes villes. Concernant le personnel, Federica est très sympathique, serviable, toujours prête à donner des conseils. Puis elle parle français ce qui est très appréciable. Pour résumer je ne peux que conseiller cette résidence avec un bon rapport qualité prix, et une bonne situation géographique!

Trevlig personal, hjälsamma med allt. Rent varje dag, men rummets ventilation var mindre bra trots att det finns luftkonditionering. Svårt att få igång tv:n. Frukosten är väldigt enkel. Det tar mindre än 10 minuter att gå till Vatikanen.

Super Séjour à Rome
Vraiment super endroit pour passer quelques jours à Rome. Résidence extrêmement bien placée (plein centre et à 5 minutes de la place Saint Pierre) et très propre. Les personnes à la réception sont accueillantes et très disponibles (Grazie Mille à Federica et Luisa qui sont adorables).

Top Unterkunft, entsprach 100% unseren Vorstellungen! Alles fußläufig zu erreichen von spanischer Treppe bis Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im direkten Umfeld und Shopping ebenfalls extrem nah, 3 Stationen mit der Bahn oder eben quer durch und zu Fuß. Das Zimmer war immer einwandfrei, es ist halt B&B evtl. Könnte man beim Frühstück etwas Abwechslung walten lassen aber alles nett angerichtet und alle und jeder immer freundlich. Zimmer 5 mit Blick auf St.Peter Kuppel. Rom ist halt etwas lauter, es wird durchaus der Müll um 5 Uhr morgens (glascontainer) geleert aber das ist halt der Charme von Rom und hat nichts mit dem B&B zutun. Wir haben und werden diese Unterkunft weiter empfehlen ! Und Flughafen Abholung für 50€ lohnt sich, das Taxi kostet so oder so 48€ und man wird im sehr gepflegt "Oberklasse" Fahrzeug abgeholt. Alles richtig gemacht.

Todo está excelente. La atención es muy buena, en distintos idiomas. Las habitaciones son muy lindas, impecables y cómodas. La ubicación es a unas calles del Vaticano por lo que es ideal para salir a cualquier hora a dar un paseo. Altamente recomendable. Tuve una experiencia a la altura de Roma.

Perfect place to stay, WOW factor from the front doors, then the lift and then the guesthouse, was made to feel welcome straight away, was perfect from start to finish, breakfast amazing and staff very helpful... Would stay again, worth every penny.

Good hotel, great location
Small room, but great price. VERY clean and updated. Staff is super friendly, breakfast is good - croissants, meats and cheeses, yogurt, coffee, juice, etc. Great location - 5 minute walk to the Vatican - you can see St. Peter's Basilica if you're on the correct side. Small hotel, only five rooms - more like a bed and breakfast, with your own bathroom in your room, etc. If you're looking for typical Marriott-style hotel, this is not it. But great for laying your head at night!
