Perfect spot in Rome
Just a few steps from the Pantheon made this hidden gem a perfect place to start our day and we loved visiting the little Trattoria Il Lucana at the end of our adventures. Lots of great restaurants near by and we were very comfortable with two bedrooms and two bathrooms giving us some privacy when travelling with friends. Easy check in and check out. Definitely recommend. Thanks Martin!

Nice stay and good location
Good location. Small bedrooms and one shower was very tiny. Washer but no dryer and dryer rack was broken. Good Wi-Fi which was nice. Living area was large. No extra pillow cases for the extra pillows. You get one bath towel so assume you need to wash your towel if you want a clean one. No kitchen towels.

Great and spacious place
We ended up here after a very long trip that started in Israel and took us through Spain, France and Italy. We probably arrived during the hottest time of the year (no joke, 120 degrees Fahrenheit). The apartment was great - very large and welcoming (nice living space, netflix, good kitchen). The host was amenable to letting us check in early and the apartment was clean, the beds were comfy and communication was easy (mostly done via What's App so just make sure you are comfortable with that). There is a small grocery store right around the corner which was great. The location can't be beat and importantly, the air-conditioner was to American standards which was beyond welcome given the heat was literally unbearable to the point where it made the whole trip (with kids) pretty difficult. My husband who is really picky about where we stay quickly said the place was great and he is one of the most critical lodging people I ever met. Only real watch out: The elevator is very, very small (room for a suitcase and one person barely). This did not bother me, I didn't care, we took shifts and my kids just ran up the stairs) but just something to be aware of. The walk up is pretty strenuous if you are older but there is an elevator -- it just might pose challenges if someone has mobility issues and they have walking assistance tools beyond a cane (wheelchair, walker, etc.). Only other suggestion is better lighting (more standing lamps, etc.) Would highly recommend!

Perfect location!
The apartment was in the perfect location, it the furnishings were basic, but it was quite clean. The host did a fine job, he provided us with transport to airport and restaurant suggestions. My only complaint is that the cleaning crew showed up 30 minutes before we were supposed to check out. They were aware that our transport wasn't scheduled for 30 more minutes, but they came anyway. Some of us were still in our pajamas and were still packing and organizing when they came in to clean. Luckily, they were able to start cleaning the back bedroom and allowed us to get everything done up front.

Perfect for us
Mr. Frias and his assistant, Mr. Andre, were extremely helpful. Mr. Frias organized 2 airport transfers for us, allowed us to get into the apartment early and gave several restaurant recommendations. Our check-in was very easy. The apartment is large and roomy with extra pillows. We were in Rome for a couple of the hottest days of the summer, and the air conditioning worked extremely well and was very much appreciated! The kitchen had pots and pans if you wanted to cook - even had a microwave! The TVs worked and there was even Netflix on them! One shower was small. Our stay was fantastic!

This property was a nice place to stay for a one night layover. The places was very spacious. Great A/C...maybe i did not know how the work the A/C remove, but it was really cold in the bedrooms and the blankets were as thin as the bed sheets. We could have used thicker blankets.

Fantastic location and great host!
We loved this location and the apartment was excellent. The host was very helpful in getting both a transfer to the apartment as well as helping us find one to the train station when we weren't able to find one on our own. When the driver cancelled last minute, he sent Andre to help us!

This property is in walking distance to so many attractions. You cannot beat this location. This is a cute European style apartment, perfect for 2 couples. Martin and his team were always very quick to help with questions or anything we needed.

When I first booked the apartment months ago, the VRBO app switched it to one person instead of 5, so I emailed to make sure they knew we were 5 people. I was told yes, that's fine because the apartment sleeps 6. Nothing else was said. In the US where I am familiar with VRBO, if you rent an apartment you rent the apartment for that price. It's not relevant whether you have one or more people staying there because you rented the whole apartment. However I was concerned whether we would be able to drop our bags and leave them for the day before check-in, so I kept emailing the owner (5 times) over the months leading up to our trip and he never answered me. When we got there he was surprised that we were 5 people and said we had to pay $600 extra. Then when we got to the apartment they were workers working there and the apatment was basically not ready for occupancy. The workers were hammering and everything was a mess. They did not leave until 8 PM (check-in was at 3 PM). We asked if we could get partial refund for the 1st day or some amount taken off of the extra $600 we were being charged but were told absolutely not. There was very little toilet paper and we barely made it to the end of our stay. My son's bed had no pillow cases even though we asked several times. I would never come back to this place in a million years and would caution anyone against giving these people your money. This guy will swindle you.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
NOT AT ALL as it is represented on VRBO. The cleaning crew met us rather than the host’s “trusted colleague” and then proceeded to stay and finish cleaning for another 45 minutes past check-in time. Finally, they took pictures of our passports before they left & gave us the WiFi password after I had to ask for it. The listing is very deceptive in many ways: There is no balcony, just a table shoved up against a window, shower is not even big enough for a woman to shave her legs in, the lighting is horrendous, there is not a single piece of artwork on the walls, there are four suitcases, belonging to who knows whom on top of the wardrobe in the second bedroom, packing tape to repair the dishwasher, etc., etc.

Run down, needs help
The good: GREAT location! The bad: -The mattress had NO mattress pad and had many gross stains. The pillows were also stained. -The bathroom stunk like the wax seal was missing or toilet was not seated properly - it was clean, just stunk. -The couch had a sheet covering it (we didn’t take the sheet off to find out why, but if it is to hide rips or other grossness, buy a new couch). -The headboard was tattered. -The toilet seat was loose and slipped off to the side. -1 towel hook was broken off. -There was nowhere to put our suitcases - we had to put them all on the floor! -There was no extra toilet paper provided - we had to share one roll between two bathrooms by the end. -No extra pillows or pillowcases. -The cabinets in the bedroom are not secured to a wall, so when we walked by, the cabinet doors would bang into themselves and make noise (not good when getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom) Suggestions: US adapters would have been a nice touch as would a binder with local restaurants, attraction hours and how to register for entrance, etc, a map of the area, favorite restaurants, etc. The apartment is on the the 4th floor with a very small 1 or 2 person elevator. The whole apartment is old and tired and could use a refresh.

Brilliant Location
The property location is ideal with all the major sights of Rome within walking distance. A large variety of cafes and restaurants near by. Located on the fourth floor the apartment was very quiet. Lovely view of the city and in particular the sunset. Accomodation was perfect for what we wanted.

In the heart of things with easy walking to all the major sites. Good amount of space to gather if an evening in is wanted. Good windows and air flow. Elevator is a bonus for moving luggage to the 4th floor. 1 shower is very small.

Fantastic location and beautiful views.
We loved staying here. The views are gorgeous and apartment is spacious with lots of privacy. We were able to easily relax after a long day of walking. The location is so close to the pantheon, shops, and restaurants. We walked and saw opera singer in the neighborhood, a Saturday open market about 5 min away, and so much more. Martin was wonderful to coordinate with. He arranged a private taxis for our early morning flight. We loved our stay!

Perfect location right in the heart of old Rome
If you're looking to get away from the usual hotel atmosphere and stay right in the heart of old Rome, this is a fantastic choice. Located on a small street just blocks away from the Pantheon, the Piazza Novella, and many other historical sites, this apartment offers direct access to everything Rome. The forum and coliseum are a 15-20 minute walk away, but along this route you're passing though western history, so the walk is a trip in itself. There's an excavation at the end of the block exposing the stage where Julius Caesar's life came to a famous end. Endless churches, streetside cafe's, and historical sites abound. The apartment is on the 4th floor up a steep staircase, so if you're not up to the climb, you may want to look elsewhere. There's a one-person elevator, but I'm not a fan of confined spaces and we stayed away from that. But if you're up to the climb, check in and open the living room window and take in the rooftops of old Rome and listen to the church bells ring.

Perfect location for everything.. pizza place just outside the door. Best pizza in town good wine & pasta . We ate there at least 3 times in 4 days ❤️. Apartment was clean & well appointed. Washer outside on the back patio. No dryer but has nice size rack for drying. Arrangements for transport to airport were so easy with host . He was also very easy to communicate with via VRBO app or what’s app. . Would definitely stay again!!

Check in was painless, the size of apartment is fantastic, elevator was a plus apartment is on 4th floor, close to historical sites so you can walk, Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, pantheon even the coliseum. Having a washer was great, no dryer have to dry use a clothes rack. Grocery stores near by had to purchase pods for Coffee maker because they were not supplied and of course not knowing which pods it took purchased the wrong size. Has a hot pot for hot water, inside the reservoir where the coils are the paint is coming off the heating coils so look for the chips that settle to the bottom. Televisions in bedrooms did not get a signal and one was missing a remote so neither one worked. Oven was not cleaned after last guest left lots of crumbs on pan in the oven, counters are old butcher block not very sanitary lots of black around the sink. Overall great location.

This spacious , clean , safe, well appointed , very comfortable 2brm 2 bath apartment is located blocks away from the Pantheon., and within walking distance of the many famous places in Rome. Numerous buses are close by to visit more far away sights, if you prefer not to walk. It is close to restaraunts , cafes, great shopping, Apartment and location surpassed our expectations ! Our host , Martin, was very responsive and helpful. We would definetely stay here again , if we return to Rome .

Perfect apartment in the heart of Rome!
We loved our stay at this property in Rome. It was in the perfect location, plenty of room and all the amenities you need for a great stay. An overview of what we look for and what we loved about the property: - Location, location, location: This was in a great spot to get to everything you need in Rome. We felt very safe at this apartment as well. Right out the door, there are wonderful restaurants, shops and the Pantheon is about 100m away. A quick walk to get coffee in the morning and we grabbed a bottle of wine at night from the restaurant next door to enjoy as we relaxed in the comfort of our home each night. - Beds are very comfortable and 'cave-like' at night, which we loved. Quiet, cool and comfortable, so a great way to get a good nights rest and be ready for the next day. - Bathrooms - two showers and well stocked. Blow dryer was great to use. - Kitchen and living space. Plenty of room in this spacious apartment, bedrooms away from the noise of the streets at night and the kitchen was well stocked. - Check in/out was a breeze. Martin was kind enough to help us schedule transportation from the airport and Mr Andre was very kind when checking us in. I will recommend this property to anyone looking for a place in Rome and would stay here again!

Very accommodating! We arrived early & requested to store our luggage. Responded promptly to all our inquiries. Apartment very spacious for 2 couples. It has two Queen bedrooms & two bathrooms. Location is central so most sites are a 10-20 minute walk away. Quiet neighborhood at night. Highly recommend!

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic!
Apartment was great! The owner was open and easy to get a hold of. The location is phenomenal. Lots of shops and restaurants. It's a 3 minute walk to the pantheon and about 20 to the Colosseum, The Vatican and Trevi Fountain. Has enough space to fit 4 people comfortably. Would definitely come back.

Perfect Central Rome Apartment
We spent 2 months living in this apartment (March and April). We found it to be comfortable and very well located. The bedrooms face the interior courtyard, so are very quiet. The living room windows face beautiful church spires and the sunset. Being on the 4th floor keeps you well above the street. We walked to most sites, but taxis and buses were right outside the door when we needed them. We have recommended this apartment to friends who will be visiting Rome this summer.
