We picked it, however, because we wanted to visit the necropoli of cerveteri (only 20 minutes away) & because we liked the rustic environment... once you get there (over admittedly a bit of rugged road; don't go by sportscar ;) ) we were immediately greeted by wild rabbits, some goats, hogs & pigs, etc... absolutely fantastic!

Excellent hotel! Extremely clean and well kept. Great room, excellent turn down service. Very friendly staff. Sun deck space with access to private beach was great (pack water shoes!). 'The hotel itself is charming, with lovely floor tiles throughout. Our quadruple room on the second floor was spacious and pleasant, with a nice view of the adjacent square. The bathroom could do with a little more maintenance, but nothing major. Breakfast was good, particularly if you get there early when there’s still fresh bread. The aforementioned square offers brilliant choices for eating out. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes long.'
