Haus Majda—A Place with Heart, History, and Friendship

The name Majda combines Maja and Ida, the daughters of two good friends who have come together here to make a dream come true. With a great deal of passion and attention to detail, this house was renovated from the ground up and transformed into a place that combines warmth, style, and a cozy atmosphere—a place to arrive, unwind, and enjoy.

House Majda is located at one of the highest points of the vacation park and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding nature—an ideal retreat for anyone seeking peace, panoramic views, and relaxation.

Nestled in the heart of nature, our approximately 68 m² single-story house awaits you—perfect for families and nature lovers. The house underwent extensive renovation in 2025 and features upscale, modern amenities that leave nothing to be desired. It comfortably accommodates up to 4 people across two levels.
Optionally, you can also set up an air mattress in the lower living area, which can accommodate up to two additional people.

The first floor features a spacious living and dining area with a cozy corner sofa, a dining table for six, a flat-screen TV, a radio, an iPod/iPhone docking station, and Wi-Fi. The open-concept kitchen is fully equipped with an induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and electric kettle—ideal for cooking together in the evenings. The modern bathroom with a shower and toilet rounds out the first floor.

Upstairs, you’ll find two cozy bedrooms:
• One bedroom with a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m)
• Another bedroom with a bed (1.40 x 2.00 m)


A special highlight is the 25 m² sun terrace with an adjoining garden. Here you can relax in complete tranquility, enjoy the view of nature, or wind down the evening in comfort.
For barbecue enthusiasts, a gas grill (gas included) is available, and on cooler evenings, the cozy fire pit creates a cozy atmosphere under the open sky. Meanwhile, children can play to their heart’s content—and for even more fun, a bounce house is available free of charge.

At Haus Majda, children and dogs are warmly welcome—after all, a successful vacation includes the whole family.

The surrounding area offers plenty of activities: The state-recognized climatic health resort of Ronshausen is a paradise for cyclists and hikers. Embark on extended tours through forests and meadows, or enjoy the cool water while canoeing and rafting on the Werra and Fulda rivers or paddle boating on Lake Breitenbach. Culture lovers will also find plenty to enjoy—such as a visit to Wartburg Castle in Eisenach or the Bad Hersfeld Festival.
