'Gorgeous location. Big room with comfy bed and good bathroom. Cosy bar and we enjoyed a lovely meal. Nice walk into the tiny village for cafe and another pub. Good value. If you’re not a dog person it’s worth noting there were a lot of guests with dogs.'

'Great location for Saltburn & Whitby, lovely, quiet village. Sunday lunch was delicious, big portions, very good value for money. Would highly recommend. The room was clean & very comfortable with fantastic views. The bed was very comfy too. The staff were all very friendly and attentative. Will definitely visit again.

'The team at the Royal Oak were fantastic from check in to check out. Freshly cooked tasty breakfast every morning and would definitely reccommend the sunday roast which was delicious. The team were very friendly and helpful throughout. The location was absolutely perfect!'

We had an absolutely flawless stay from start to finish. Claire was incredibly helpful, welcoming us warmly and taking us to our lovely, spotlessly clean room.
The entire staff were amazing.
The chef served up a spectacular breakfast that surpassed all expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful, set in a fabulous village with a wonderful pub atmosphere.
