'Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.'

'We had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Hannah was extremely helpful and was quick to respond when i accidentally deleted the message with the keycode! The room was extremely comfortable and clean. We had a superb meal in the pub, and the staff were very friendly. The room was peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed the views and a glorious sunset. 'A beatiful place. Rooms were immaculate. The guest room was a real bonus: large with panoramic views towards the Brecon Beacons. The breakfast menu was extensive and very well cooked. I would recommend this to anyone.'

We were particularly impressed with the young man who showed us to our room (despite a small key issue) and served us at breakfast - he was so polite and professional, he's an asset to the business!
