'The location was amassing you are right on the beach. You can light a camp fire on the beach or go beach combing. The camp amenities were great they even had a pizza oven. I would highly recommend this place. I will be returning next time I am in Ross'

'Lovely host, made us feel very welcome & at home. Cottage very clean & tidy, lots of lovely touches, flannel sheets, hot water bottles. So appreciated. Enjoyed the 195O’s retro furnishings, old records & player. Kitchen had a great selection of condiments, Enjoyed starting our day sitting outside in the sun with a plunger coffee & watching the Weka. Thanks so much for a great stay. will be back in Summer. '

'We loved our stay in the Blackhouse Cottage, and wished we could have stayed longer. It was gorgeously appointed and well set out. The beds were super comfortable and we were snug and warm in the cold. So cozy and the perfect place to unwind and relax. We would stay here again and again. '
