Clean, spacious rooms with modern en suite. Tea making facilities and toiletries provided. Third time we have stayed here. Staff are always lovely. Choice of tasty breakfasts included. Definitely recommend.

Fabulous
Lovely themed place, we did an evening event on the Spa Valley Railway and wS 2 minutes walk, no worries about parking. Food was great both meals in restaurant and breakfast. If you suffer with being hot, suggest you use the supplied fan

It’s very quirky and the theme is continuous. The rooms and bathroom are very comfortable and clean. Parking is easy & free for hotel guests. Every single member of staff we spoke to, whether bar, waiting staff, Manager and the cleaning ladies were absolutely lovely and very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay again. The included breakfast is delicious too!

Great theming, service rooms and food!
Unexpectedly brilliant! First and foremost the service from all staff was superb. We ended up having dinner there which we hadn’t planned to do and it was good American style food! Breakfast was lovely. Room was great - plenty of room, coffee machine, good shower and immaculately clean. Brilliant theming throughout the bar and hotel. Two things to be aware of - the rooms are above the bar so you can here the music but that goes off at 11 so that was no problem for us as we were out, and the bed was a standard double which may be an issue for some. Overall a resounding 10/10 .

Blown away. Loved our stay
Wow, the rooms where amazing. The decor was fantastic. Tied in with the cowboy theme. Equipped with everything for your stay. Beds were so comfy. Bathroom sower was excellent . So clean. Absolutely loved our stay

Nice room, tidy and clean. Bathroom a little dated but ok. Restaurant a little quirky and the theme a little over the top for me. Food ok. Breakfast was generous with Dolly Parton being played a little loud :)

Our room was clean, comfortable and had all we needed in it. Staff were efficient and friendly. Really enjoyed our stay overnight at this hotel. The food in the restaurant was freat. Cannot fault this hotel. Had a car park too.

The decor of pub is stunning and the staff very attentive,also the breakfast very good and plenty choices. Cross the road is woods with footpaths where i had a good walk is also a garden centre near by where i found beautiful gifts.exellent weekend trip for me.❤

A great stay
We had a fantastic stay. Our introduction to the UK was rough as part of our luggage did not arrive for 2 days. The staff were so supportive and accomodating. Our room was cozy and the western theme was charming. Easy walking to the Pantiles and a huge grocery store right behind the property. We loved sitting on the back patio sipping beer.

S&W TONBRIDGE WELLS.
The cleanliness of the room was excellent but unfortunately spoiled when I was unable to use the wash basin due to the plug being faulty for two days. My first meal on this occasion was served completely cold and had to be changed,an unusual event for S & W in past experience. All staff very helpful and friendly

My Partner and I stayed at Smith and Western for a Bank Holiday weekend to attend a friends wedding. We had such an amazing time. The hotel had so much character, the staff were so helpful and friendly, the food and drinks were fantastic, Not to mention the country and western music that played in the background gave a nice relaxed vibe and added to the over Character of the place. We are definitely converted to Country Music now lol. And we would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

Taste of the Wild West!
Visited with friends. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel rooms were country and western themed. Very clean with nice touches throughout, and a comfortable double bed. Quirky seating and decor throughout restaurant and bar. Food was fabulous and the atmosphere great! Definitely going to return.....loved it!!!!

Theme hotel that needs some work. Ok but not great
Check in was very informal, asked about discounted rates at the restaurant and the guy didn’t know, told me I’d have to go speak to someone else…. ate elsewhere in the end. Room was FREEZING cold on arrival. The wall heater fuse was locked out and had to heat the room with 2 electric heaters. Great, so the option to keep the room warm is either a noisy fan heater, or a radiant heater brighter then the sun…. Both great for a good night sleep! Room seemed clean enough and no issue with noise from the restaurant, bed was comfy. Walls must be paper thin though, could hear every word from the cackling dolphin in the room opposite. Location is good for the town. The breakfast was also good but beware that it’s only served from when the restaurant opens (9 I think?) so not much use if on business. Expensive for what it is at over a hundred pound per night and primarily is a restaurant with a few rooms available.

From the outside it looked a little tired, but inside was a world of difference, a wonderfully transformed former station into the wild west of America. The room was great, the food was even better.
