'Expedia confirmed my booking and took payment. Around two hours later, the host cancelled because of “an error with the calendar” — for a stay that was due the very next day.
That alone was bad enough, but the refund process made it worse. It took two days and three phone calls to Expedia to chase a proper refund, after the first refund shown was only partial.
So I was left with no accommodation, wasted time, unnecessary stress, and then had to fight to get back the money I should never have...

'Once you get used to not being a host and you have worked out the codes for all the doors it works ok. I understand the location but really could do with its own parking, luckily the road outside was under roadworks so I parked at the front.'

'The cottage is excellent, with plenty of parking, a very safe enclosed garden for our dogs, it is very well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable holiday. Paul and Jenny, the owners are lovely, gave us a guided tour of the cottage and where to find things. The welcome pack was very nice and much appreciated. Thanks for everything. We will be returning next year, all being well.'

'Lovely self contained pod with a very unique garden full of character. The hosts were very friendly , make sure to ask if you want to use the hot tub as it needs preparing in advance. Really enjoyed our stay , would definitely recommend '
