'We stayed at one of the apartments with ocean view and the view did not disappoint. Although the balcony was very small, just big enough for 2 small chairs, we really enjoyed watching the sunsets. The location is great, there are many restaurants and coffee places nearby and you can walk to most tourist attractions. it was however very noisy, we recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Also, the property needs some work, it is an old building and it shows. Finally, there is a small...

'I am very happy that the owners and staff choose to maintain this hotel in the classic style and to a reasonable standard. They are doing a service to public heritage because few of these grand old Alexandria hotels remain.'

'I wish I could give this place minus.
Avoid if u are traveling alone or generally are a woman. Or if u are a breathing human being.
The receptionist came to my room by false pretense there was water problem at 23:00 and made advances.
I asked him to leave, he said sorry but it was too late. I was shocked and pissed.
Packed my things and left the hotel the morning after.
Contacted hotels, com to complain, and now the person says i was the one making advances. Unbelievable, i guess as a woman i...

'The property is very nice. The breakfast was outstanding. The staff were super friendly. I hoped the pool was heated as shown on their site especially in October , especially it was a bit chilly!
I asked them why is it not heated?
They said it will be heated starting November! Not sure why not in October especially that no one was daring to use the pool and always empty, so it needs to be heated !!!'

'Een fijn hotel met vriendelijk personeel. Hoewel je zachtjes de menigte van de mall beneden hoort, vonden wij dit juist prettig en rustgevend om bij in slaap te vallen.
We verbleven meerdere dagen in Egypte en hadden dit hotel voor slechts twee nachten geboekt omdat we meerdere plekken wilden zien. Achteraf hebben we spijt dat we hier niet langer zijn gebleven. Het was een geweldige ervaring!
