'The cabin has the bare minimum in the way of furniture, decor, linens, etc. A little bit more effort in making it more inviting and cozy would go a long way. There are no curtains or blinds, barely enough linens for the futon (which is counted as a bed), no utensils, nothing on the walls, no bedroom or closet door. It could be a very cute place with a little effort. '

'We had a wonderful stay in Ruston this past weekend for my daughter’s volleyball tournament. Loved that it had a washing machine and dryer. The main bedroom could use an updated bed, pretty hard, but made do. Everything else was nice. '

'We rented this property to attend our daughter’s graduation from La Tech along with several family members. The house has been beautifully redone and was very clean. The host had several little nice touches - water, popcorn, flip flops, fuzzy socks, toiletries and even sleep masks. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us and we even had additional guests over after graduation and never felt crowded. It was very close to the college but the neighborhood was a little ran down.I gave 4 stars...

'We had an awesome trip to Lake D’Arbonne for my birthday celebration! Megan was such a big help and was quick to respond anytime I needed anything. The property is so cute and well maintained. We were able to enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the front porch as well as the dock. We spent the majority of our time fishing, but when we weren’t, the property is located close to some really great restaurants which was super convenient! Would definitely stay here again!'

The only pain point we had as guests was the fact the house upstairs seemed very busy and loud. It was never to the point where we wanted to complain, but it is something to keep in mind. 'Great property to stay on Candy Creek. Pros: Location, cleanliness of the property, starlink WiFi and host Con: Driveway was a little small and difficult to fit a bass boat but we made it work. Overall a great little weekend trip!'

'Stayed here for a baseball tournament that one of my kids was playing in Ruston. Only a 17 minute (super easy trip) from the driveway to the Ruston Sports Complex! Owner was quick to respond and very easy to communicate with. Definitely would recommend! '
