Perfect Vacation
Beautiful location. Overlooking the ocean and pool. Meals spent on top and bottom terrace overlooking our incredible view. The most spectacular beaches only minutes away. Restaurants close by. Quiet and relaxing. Exactly what was needed for our 2 week stay. Highly recommend.

Condo review
We spent three weeks at Marazul Dive Resort in Sept 2023. Chris & Andrea's condo is very nice. It has more amenities than most here: AC on upper & lower levels; dishwasher; washer. It is directly behind the pool, which was abit concerning to me, not wanting to have people or noise infringe on our space. However, it was not a problem at all, as there is beautiful vegetation giving visual privacy, & the constant wind through the palm trees carries away all but the loudest of noises. In fact it was nice being so close, as we could run in & out of our condo to use the bathroom, get a drink of water, etc. Chris & Andrea went out of their way to accommodate our needs, & moved one of the downstairs couches up into the bedroom so my child could sleep there. They even bought a beach umbrella & two beach chairs knowing we were looking to snorkel at several remote beaches with no facilities. They were immediately responsive to my various questions & concerns both before & during our stay. They are super hosts for sure! MDR itself is a wonderful place to stay if what you're seeking is a quiet, laid-back atmosphere close to nice dive & snorkeling beaches. The pool is very nice, & the property is gated & secure, with a night watchman as well. The grounds are beautiful, & are immaculately kept. I highly recommend MDR, & Chris & Andrea's condo.

Nice place, right on water. It's diver heaven there and in the area; however, it is a long way from the more populated area south. It's an interesting drive, but for us, not divers and late late bookers, it got old. Not the facilities fault.

Well appointed with local info
Chris and Andrea's place had everything we needed for a comfortable 1 week stay. Comfortable bed, dishwasher, well appointed kitchen, even a washing machine which was handy for rinsing out salt water soaked suits and towels after a beach day. We loved the local information provided in the apartment... especially the "ramblings" of Sunshine 😃. Chris provided tips on everything from restaurants to rental cars. Very helpful! Property manager, Renee, was friendly and let us borrow 2 snorkels from his office supply. The pool and grounds are very well kept. Perfect location for beach-hopping!

A week in paradise.

Beautiful location!
We really enjoyed our time here. We spent a lot of our days at local beaches and this was a great place to come back to at the end of the day to relax and have dinner. We’d come back again, for sure!

Convenient for diving
We enjoyed our stay. It was conveniently located to dive west and central dive sites. It is difficult to climb the ladder to get in and out of the ocean at the property so we only made one dive there. Most of our diving was done with Go West diving. Pool area was nice although we spent very little time there. We lost power one day but checking fuse box was all that was needed to correct it. We never had any communication with the property manager. Never saw anyone.

Absolutely Wonderful!
The unit was recently renovated, updated and very clean. We had zero issues with electricity, plumbing, internet, or any of the appliances. The unit is next to the pool; however, is somewhat secluded by the beautiful flower bushes between the pool and the unit. We loved the very short walk to the stairwells that led to the water. We snorkeled almost everyday down there. Lastly, the location is about 40-45 minutes from Willemstad; however, there is tons to see and do by the resort. Great restaurants, Turtle Beach was was within snorkeling distance. Absolutely recommend!!

Great location in Westpunt. Wonderful, gated resort walking distance from restaurants and house reef for diving. Excellent communication with the owners when making last minute changes for arrival time. Highly recommend!

Great stay, great place to dive
Overall, everything is pretty much as advertised. The place was very nice, the grounds were as advertised, location was great for our dive trip and the diving on the house reef was excellent! A couple of notes: The upstairs toilet was running and the owner stated that they were working to get it replaced ASAP. We couldn't get the WIFI to work, but there was a cheat sheet with other nearby WIFI passwords and we found one that worked fine - I notified the owner. There was a note in the unit that indicated if you used the AC 24/7, you might run over the electricity limit and have to pay extra. We ran the upstairs unit only for about 8 hours a day, so I don't expect we bumped into any limit. Overall, if when we return for our next dive trip, I'd stay at Marazul over any other place due to the house reef and this unit would be a top pick.

Peaceful Paradise
Our family of four, two teenagers, had a relaxing and fun filled vacation at this beautiful Villa. Chris gave us amazing information before we ever arrived… To help plan our snorkeling adventures. We cooked most of our meals in the kitchen… Which is very well stocked. Our kids loved swimming in the pool as we would cook supper ... and we enjoyed hearing their laughter! We only went out for dinner lines… And it was to Sol Food. We have two celiac‘s in our family… And the owner, Sunshine, is very knowledgable and it’s great ... including the view! One evening we walked out of our villa a few steps… Down the stairs of the cliff… And hopped into the ocean for a little sunset snorkel!!! The Villa was clean and it seems like they thought of everything… Including a laundry basket and ice packs for lunches. The power did go out a couple times… But it always came back on and I think that’s just an island thing! We felt 100% safe And peaceful. I loved waking up in the upstairs bedroom… And hearing the wind blow… Watching the palm trees… And the fisherman coming in on the ocean. I wish our family could have stayed another week!

Great stay, great snorkeling
Had a great time at Marzul Dive Resort. Very nice property overlooking sheltered waters of Westpunt. Lots of birds and iguanas. Great views and sunsets. Really nice snorkeling with lots of fish and beautiful coral along the cliff edge; even saw squid and a turtle. Unit 2B was very nice and clean. Kitchen is well equipped with range top, toaster oven, microwave, fridge, pots, pans, and dishes. Do bring your own shampoo, none was provided. This unit is directly next to the pool, which on the positive side means your 4 steps away from the pool and lounge chairs; on the negative side the resort is family friendly and the pool got busy, especially in the afternoon with lots of kids playing, so its can get crowded and noisy; usually from 3 to 6 pm during our stay; otherwise pretty quiet. Also the upper balconies around the pool basically can see one another, so not very private. WiFi router in unit was not working but site manager provided passwords for adjacent WiFi access points. Overall great location to get away from the crowds and explore the natural side of Curacao.

Awesome location!
Villa was just as described! Best vacation we’ve had in awhile and the location set the tone for our stay. Grounds are well kept and staff was very friendly. Educate yourself about the culture and plan ahead for things like the grocery store or mini-market. Food can be pricey but the owners provide you with a great list of restaurants and things to do. Sol Food restaurant is a must as well as Go West Diving.

Well kept very peaceful can swim in the ocean or in the pool, close to beautiful beaches and very close to great dive shop go West which is less than 5 min away, diving is excellent this end of island looking for a peaceful getaway this is the place. Even so only. 40 min to Willemstad for a night out and shopping take your credit card great watches.

Perfect location!
This unit is the perfect location on the property! The featured photo is accurate. Beauty! If you're a diver, this is also perfect for you. It's right in the center of either entry site for some of the best shore diving on Curacao (my opinion). The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed. There was snorkel equipment and floats for the pool. We really loved the pergola for a bit of shade. The owners were quick to respond about some very minor issues and great to work with. Would definitely recommend this unit and would stay here again! Thanks for a wonderful time in Curacao!

Wonderful Experience
We have just returned from a month at Marazul and thoroughly enjoyed every day. The unit was well equipped, incredible view from both up and down, close to the pool and the bed was really comfortable. A full sized fridge and well equipped kitchen made cooking in easy,. Best of all were the people; we met some really great people from all over and the staff could not do more.

Very Nice Property
This was our 3rd stay at this place and we have booked it again, so needless to say, we are very happy there. The bedroom is spacious, bathroom adequate, kitchen supplied with items to cook and serve food. Love the Marazul Dive Resort. Host gives directions to grocery stores, and how to get there from the airport. If you want a quiet, relaxing place with lots of great diving and snorkeling places nearby, this is the place to stay. The property manager walks around every day and is available for any questions or if you need help with anything. We go downtown to Willemsted once or twice in a two week stay for shopping or an evening out.

A Wonderfully Relaxing Week in Curacao
We really enjoyed our week at Marazul Drive Resort. 2B was so convenient to the pool (steps out the door), and the views of the water are amazing. The unit was well-stocked and very comfortable. The info that was provided beforehand was very helpful in picking out restaurants, etc. If you're looking for a very quiet and relaxing week, this is the place to go. The main city in Curacao is about an hour away as is most things to do other than diving and snorkeling. There is a small beach nearby that you can walk to and another a short drive away that is bigger and very nice for swimming and sunning as well as snorkeling. We're already planning on our next visit.

Views and total relaxation
Stayed here 10 nights. The view from the balcony is just lovely. Wish they had a small fridge up on the deck so we didn't have to make trips downstairs for refills. Perfect spot for a glass of wine in the evening or coffee in the morning. The condo is exactly as advertised. The beaches nearby are some of the best snorkeling we found. The resort manager is very helpful with any questions you may have and some great suggestions too. Several restaurants close by are top ones on the entire island. We will definitely come back to this place. One of the few vacations that I regretted leaving. I would strongly recommend if you rent a car ( and you need one on this side of the island ) that you get the insurance offered by the car rental company. We had an accident that was not our fault but we are being held responsible. Two of the local people we spoke with about it said that this is one of the ways locals make their monies. No enforced driving laws.

Beautiful property and wonderful owners!
This was our first experience with VRBO and it could not have been easier. The owners provide all the information you need as soon as you book. So when you arrive at the resort, you simply type in the keypad number to open the gate, park near your condo and then type in the condo keypad number to enter. It was that simple! There were clear instructions on operating the washing machine, air conditioner, etc. The condo is wonderfully maintained and beautiful, the balcony off the upstairs master is a vacation unto itself! The resort manager is very friendly, he is out and about every morning if you ever need anything. The resort is very well maintained. The other vacationers/owners were very friendly - the atmosphere is great for families. There were no loud parties at the pool or anything like that. We would definitely stay at this condo again!

Amazing
When arriving we instantly felt at home, the place is well maintained and at a great location by the pool, the views are unbelievable and we can see 2 beaches from the view! Snorkeling right off the stairs was beautiful and so much fun, this was our honeymoon and we felt very welcomed by Rene the manager here and he was very nice and talked with us everyday, we learned a lot about the island and the best times to come to curacao, we got to swim with turtles and get fresh fish from the beach on playa grandi, the best was super comfy and we got a great nights rest every night, we loved how much snorkel supplies there were, this will not be our last time here, we will be coming back, possibly even buy a place here ourselves! Great Location for a Quiet Getaway
We were after a quiet vacation with lots of snorkeling and exploring. This Marazul Dive apartment worked well for us. I did have a severe asthma/allergy attack when we ran the fan and air conditioning in the upstairs room (I'm highly allergic to dust), but after we wiped down the fan and air conditioner filter, everything was much more comfortable. The resort is a low key kind of beautiful and the apartment is cozy. The manager of the property was very nice and recommended some good food places nearby. The local Dive Shop was a real gem. Snorkeling right at Marazul is great as well as the nearby beaches. We saw sea turtles, seahorses, and so much more. Chris was really responsive whenever we tried to reach out and really put a lot of thought in their notes for their guests. Really appreciated all the information!
