Great Cabin!
The cabin was perfect! The setting was so quiet and the property was exceptional! The animals were friendly and loved the snacks the owner provided. Fresh eggs were waiting for us when we got there. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area!

Spring Break in Kentucky
My daughter who is 10 loves all things animals! This was the perfect stay for us because the owners allowed us to interact with their farm animals and explore the grounds. It allowed us to create our own adventures and memories without seeking out another “thing” to do. It was right here for us! All the amenities were great! Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay
The property was so cute . It was so clean and the furniture and decor gave us a Yellowstone feel . Our host Maureen was so kind , she has taken the time to make sure every little detail was thought of . We enjoyed the fresh eggs and bacon she so kindly gave us! Peaceful and Quaint
Loved staying here! The road was winding and a bit narrow but at least it was paved. After a couple times driving it though, you get ised to it. Able to see and feed the donkeys, cows and pigs. The cabin was very clean and accomodating. Even watched deer from the front porch! Tim is a super nice person! He took us on a tour of the farm. Beautiful place! Didnt get to meet Maureen, as she was away on a trip. If you love farm animals and feeling peaceful and secure, I highly recommend this place! Only thing that would have made it better would be to have a bathtub instead of just a shower. But still would like to go again. Thumbs up Tim and Maureen!

We had a great time during our stay. The cabin was perfect, very clean and stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio area and watching the animals. The pigs were very entertaining as were the goats and donkeys. The peace and quiet was wonderful. The countryside was just beautiful.

Wonderful, peaceful place
Beautiful place, very clean. Love the granite countertop in the kitchen! The very nice bathroom was well stocked with plenty of soap, shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Plenty of towels for our group of 5. Beds comfy & used the pull-out bed in living room. We didn’t get to the eggs but they were in the fridge. The only reason I gave 4 stars on location was it was quite a long, winding drive to the home but it’s worth it. So peaceful and the cute, gray kitty was our greeter. Would recommend future guests bring groceries and/or a pizza & drinks, it’s a ways back to town or a restaurant if ur hungry! Thanks Maureen for a wonderful stay!

Adorable and Cozy!
This cabin was the perfect size for us (2 adults and a dog). The road is a windy, but it’s a beautiful drive and worth the view. We only planned on coming to visit the Ark Encounter, which was not far at all, so we didn’t have much time to enjoy the cabin and amenities. We would’ve loved to have taken a tour of the farm and fed the animals, but ran out time. Overall, amazing place to stay and would stay again!

A little bit of Heaven
The cabin was gorgeous. Very quiet and pretty secluded. Animals came up to the fence for petting. Me, my husband from GA and another couple from NC came to KY to visit the Ark. The cabin had all that we needed for an enjoyable mini vacay. We would def recommend this place!!!

This was a beautiful relaxing stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Maureen was very responsive and gave us a tour/treats to feed the farm animals. My kids loved fishing in their pond and caught a bass. There was a great patio area where we had a campfire.

Better than expected.
This place was so nice and was perfect for us and our lab. very nicely decorated, clean, and well stocked kitchen. Even had fresh eggs. There are no restaurants close by and the drive to the cottage is along narrow country roads so plan your meals accordingly. There's a nice, mowed path to a pond and picnic area a 10-15 minute walk away. Lots of arm animals to see. A perfect stay.

Very nice place
The place was very nice. We traveled with our dogs and there was plenty of room to walk them. We met Maureen, the owner on the night we arrived and she brought food to feed some of the farm animals. Our grandson really enjoyed that. Being this was a farm, we were left fresh eggs that we enjoyed for breakfast. The only thing one needs to note with this place is that it is off the beaten path. If you like a quiet country area, then this is the place for you. We stayed here so we could go to the Ark Encounter. If you do so, Google Maps likes to take the shortest route which uses a lot of single lane roads. I would recommend taking the longer alternate route that uses mostly two lane roads and the freeway.

Wonderful cabin on a farm in the country! Fed the animals, walked a trail to pond, quite and comfortable. Has everything we needed and Maureen was very accommodating! Ran out of time to take the farm tour we really wanted to do. We will be back!

My children and I felt right at home. Enjoyed a private tour of the farm which was amazing. The owner is very friendly and is accommodating. The owner and her country set farm/cabin really has left a permanent imprint in our lives. We cannot wait to come back and stay for more than a night. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. What a treat to be able to stay at Cannon Farms while in the area visiting The Creation Museum and The Ark Encounter. Maureen and Tim were gracious hosts ensuring our time on the farm would be memorable. From the fresh eggs to a private tour of the property to meeting and feeding all the animals…all helped make our visit one we will never forget. The beautiful home was off the beaten path but easy to find. It was well stocked with amenities both inside and out. We loved being greeted each morning by donkeys braying and a rooster crowing and being able to see stunning sunrises from the front porch. Cannon Farms does not disappoint. We would highly recommend for those who want a place to rest and relax while in the area.

Dog Paradise
We stayed 2 nights in this charming cabin. We had our 3 small dogs with us, so it was wonderful to find a rental and hosts that are so welcoming to our dogs. We all loved the property with the trail up to the pond. Our dogs ran off leash and had such a great time. We all enjoyed meeting the donkeys, cows, and goats. We even got to see the newborn calf that was born the day before we arrived. Maureen was very kind and responsive to my calls. Overall, we had a great experience and will return if we are ever in the area. Highly recommend!

One Night on the Farm
The house was clean and exactly as described. It was out in the country and took awhile to get there, but that was fine since it was still daytime when we arrived. The host gave us a tour and we walked the trail to a little pond. We met some of the farm animals. It was a peaceful setting. The internet was not that great, but we did not really need. Same with the TV. It was a good place to spend the night.

Highly recommended! What a lovely place, secluded in the hills of Kentucky. Mr. Tim was our host for the week since Mrs. Maureen was out of town. He took us on a tour of the Farm. It was so peaceful and relaxing and what a cute little Cabin. We will be making plans for a return visit. Mr. Tim brought us fresh eggs & sausage, so we had a really nice home cooked meal for breakfast....we were able to meet Mrs. Maureen the morning we were headed back home. She is also very sweet and hospitable, hope we get to spend more time talking with her on the next visit.

The cabin is set on a 116 acre working farm. The area was remote, quite and safe. The family that own the cabin were lovely and very hospitable. They stocked our fridge with fresh farm eggs for our morning breakfast. There was a fire pit out the back door for those who just want a campfire and relaxation. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and everything was clean with attention to detail. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful, peaceful stay
Our family of five plus two dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We would recommend to all friends and family and anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay. We stayed here three nights while visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. It was about an hour drive to the creation museum and a half hour to the Ark. The cabin is a ways off of the interstate, but that was exactly what we were looking for. Enjoyed the sunrise each morning with my coffee from the front porch and our family enjoyed a campfire with s’mores out back. Great, clean, well managed rental! Tim was even so kind to give our kids a tour of the farm and let the feed the animals. They loved it!
