'For the money, ESH is a great deal. Very upscale, quiet, and the entire staff will accommodate every need or request at all times. It’s not on the coast, but rather up the hill about 5 minutes from town and the beach. Town is a happening place whereas ESH is simply peaceful. Best of both worlds. '

'The beaches were unobstructed, the room was very clean, the bathroom and shower were excellent. The views are on unbeatable. The location being close to two beaches was excellent. The morning breakfast was very good as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was no exercise room, which would’ve been nice.'

'I love to stay at this hotel when I need, for work or leisure, it is well kept and comfortable. The staff is amazing & restaurant on site Le Estelle is very good. Five star service for the staff and full of details in their large bedrooms, which also have an outdoor area. The pool is a big plus. Very competitive pricing for Nosara. '

'We had a great time end of July 2019 at the gilded iguana! Very attentive staff (Loren/ Irene), lovely location in walking distance to the Beach and excellent food!! Rooms are amazing in both design and space and a Pleasure to stay in. For sure we will come Back. '

'Heerlijk relaxte sfeer, zeer rustig, zeer behulpzame staf, goeie voorzieningen. Enige puntje: ligt wat verder weg van dorp, dus aangezien op eigen vervoer of (zeer snel te regelen) tuktuks.'

'Great overall just one really inconvenient thing was that for our 3 night stay we had to change room every single day which was a hassle and forced us to be at the property to do the moving every day at 1pm when we could have been at the beach or in town. '

'Extremely secure and secluded. Villa to villa distance is quite far and we could not see or hear anyone else. Grounds are very large, beach is pretty much private but you should know it’s a bit of a walk from some of the villas around to the restaurant and beach. Private pool was very nice and overall good stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and very easy to communicate with, 10/10 for the staff! '

Be advised there are two different locations, Residencias and Beachfront. We had a two bedroom unit with kitchenette in the Residencias. There looks to be several rooms above a restaurant at the Beachfront location. We had a 5 minute walk through town with access to the beach through the Beachfront location.
