Nestled near Parthenay (medieval town) of Niort and the Poitevin marshes, near a golf course (6 km). You will also have access to the large amusement parks (1 hour by car: the Puy du Fou, the Futuroscope) and beautiful forests (Chizé and Mervent-Vouvant)
Our family cottage welcomes you for an idyllic stay: you will be enveloped in comfort "like at home"

"L'ÉPICERIE DE MADELEINE" why? The stay of the cottage was for more than a century (before 1876 - after 1976) the grocery store, haberdashery, tobacco shop of the village, run by the mother of the current owner from 1916 to 1976 before being converted into a family home and then as a cottage to welcome you and allow you to live a rare experience.

L'Epicerie de Madeleine is a haven of peace with an incredible garden animated by the singing of birds!
The accommodations are spacious, warm and very well equipped, nothing is missing!
We were able to enjoy the outdoors and the barbecue, a real plus.
Mr Sibileau is a responsive and caring owner. And we really appreciated the contact with Jacqueline who was present for the welcome and departure.
We will definitely come back and we highly recommend this beautiful cottage!
