'Heel gemoedelijk, fijne eigenaren. Top ontbijt, met zorg klaargemaakt en iedere ochtend iets anders. Enige “nadeel”, soort van, is de Franse douche…., in het bad, zonder cabine of gordijn en niet hoog genoeg om er onder te staan. Maar dat weegt niet op tegen de rest van de accommodatie.'

'Excellent stay, beautiful, quaint hotel with very helpful staff. Very clean, with daily house keeping. Couldn’t find fault and would stay again. If I was asked to find anything at all i would have preferred, it would be to have liquid hand wash was instead of a bar. And shower gel rather than shampoo. However, this did not affect our stay at all.'

'There are B&Bs you stay in that feel very corporate and then there are places like this one. It is family owned and operated, and the owners make you feel like family while you are there. They and their two daughters were happy to show you the property they renovated during Covid and worked so hard to turn into a beautiful little part of France. The location is convenient to Carcassonne and there are dining options there. This is located in the country so you'll need to travel into the city...

'Mes enfants et moi avons passé un excellent séjour dans votre Chambre d’hôte. Un calme parfait dans l’hôtel, au bord de la piscine et dans la rue. Une chambre familiale hyper confortable où tout etait prévu pour nous : les 5 lits faits, douillets, accueillant avec une décoration raffinée et sobre, très délicate. Petit détail chouette : la bouilloire et les tasses dans la chambre. Serviettes de bain moelleuses et grandes, salle de bain cosy et douche très agréable. Piscine et ses abords...

'What a gorgeous stay at a beautiful chateau. We had the most peaceful stay here - very welcoming staff who were so friendly. We felt incredibly special and well looked after, and cooked for. The air conditioning and cool room were so well appreciated in the heat wave. The property is gorgeous, quiet and so relaxing. It was a perfect stop off on our trip.'

'BJ and Iris were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The setting was great with wonderful views and a stones throw from Carcassonne city. Breakfast was wonderful with home made jams. BJ was also very kind to re freeze our ice packs for the onward journey. We will definitely be back.'
