'We were so happy with our stay in the tiny home. Yes it is tiny but the layout is set up perfectly and makes the home feel bigger than it is. Our only regret is only being available for 1 night. Being close to the Saltery Bay ferry is a huge plus as well. The host Melanie is very attentive and helpful. The area put out a boil water advisory, and Melanie immediately dropped off clean drinking water to ensure we were still comfortable. I did feel bad as the checkout time on VRBO is set at 11am,...

'We have a wonderful week here. Highly recommended. perfect timing because the sandcastle weekend was on Texada island, with fun activities. The cottage is beautifully situated on the bay and is well taken care of. we have walked, swam, canoeed, fished a lot of wildlife (deer, osprey, otters, seals, etc.) and as icing on the cake (dutch saying :)) we saw orcas in the bay the last evening. 'We had an excellent stay! All the rooms were clean and tidy and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Lots of extra bedding if we needed it, as well as little considerations like beach towels and robes (for the hot tub) and camping chairs. There was a fire ban during our stay, but the wood-heated hot tub had electrical backup heating so we were able to enjoy several hot soaks. 'A great place to unwind and enjoy all that Sunshine Coast has to offer. The suite was perfect for two people and had the best view of the ocean. Also loved the little trail down to the water - we had a beach fire one night which was perfect while watching the sunset. Kevin was a great host. Would definitely stay here again!'
