'This was our first stay at this hotel, the location was lovely and extremely close to the sandy beach. Our room was comfortable with a sea view and the food was excellent, including a family celebration lunch there. It also has access to a nearby sea ferry, and connecting tractor, which takes you to nearby Salcombe. The hotel has its own car park which was really helpful.'

'We had a lovely 3 day stay at Soar Mill Cove. The food is outstanding, really delicious. Breakfast was great, lots of attention to detail like homemade jams. We ended up having dinner there twice and a couple of cream teas as it was so good. Lounge area is great with the sea view, we enjoyed playing board games there. Pool is lovely, really clean and bigger than it looks in the pictures. Staff were friendly and attentive. Mostly families staying over Easter which was nice for the kids. There...

'The stay was fantastic. Just one issue was the lack of response from the emergancey contact number on the hotels.com confirmation email.....when we could not get in the property, and the key was not in the key safe!.....still waiting for an answer to our call & text.....very poor. We managed to find the key, and text the owners, who replied promptly and were lovely.'

'Right in the middle of town so a bit noisy but otherwise fantastic. The Garden suite has its own entrance and is a lovely room with a fabulous feature bath. Parking permit provided for the long stay car park. Breakfast is amazing- would totally recommend this pub'

'This is an ideal place to relax and enjoy peace, quiet and a sea view. The site was well laid out and about 10 minutes drive to Salcombe. The lodge was very well-equipped, spacious and comfortable, with the benefit of a balcony facing the sea. The host was helpful and responsive. We enjoyed our stay and the accessibility to several beautiful places in the wider area which offer plenty to do and see.'

'Great stay at Wellingtons. The apartment is lovely, very comfortable for a family of five with the added benefit of an outdoor pool, which we used multiple times after the beach. It’s not far from Salcombe centre but still a good 25mins uphill when walking back to the apartment (we had little ones). We would highly recommend and would return. Thanks!'
