'Excellent location, easy self-checkin, responsive offsite staff. The room was cozy, clean, and included everything I needed. The only issue was noise - I could hear the people who checked-in above me from 5 pm till they finally went to bed a little after midnight. People seem oblivious to how easily impact noise travels in old NE construction. My room was also overlooking the parking lot and noise carried up easily from that.'

'Nice central location. But the windows are very thin and not insulated. That means you will hear every motorcycle rev, car, truck, and conversation. Especially after they get out of the bar that is right on the corner. I suppose if your room was facing the opposite side of the main street you should be good but if not, good luck getting sleep. Also, the blinds were a pain to open and close, be prepared to get your hands get roughed up.'

'Adorable property in a great location! We were able to walk everywhere in downtown Salem. The staff was great and breakfast was good. Unique place to stay that matches the vibe of Salem itself. Very quiet place and I slept better than I have in a long time. Also got to relax with a bath in the claw-foot tub. AMAZING! Highly recommend this property!'
