Apartment not as advertised DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND this property. It was way below an acceptable standard. To start with it was listed that the key would be in a key box at the property and it wasn’t. We then received a message to collect it from a vendor a mile away. The vendor had problems accessing the key, which meant I had to wait with the children for it to be resolved and then walk back to the apartment to try the key.When we finally got into the apartment, it smelled terrible. It was dingy and dirty. The electrics were unsafe and we couldn’t get the oven or fridge to work. The chairs at the dining table were broken or loose. The shower did not heat up. The towels smelled damp. We managed to get in touch with the host and were offered another place to stay in the same block. We were exhausted and had two children, so we accepted. It was barely any better. The oven didn’t work either. The place was dirty and the shower didn’t have a seal at the base of the screen, so water just poured out. The window handle was broken, so we couldn’t close the main window at night, which was an issue because it was ground floor. The defects and problems were significant and we ended up leaving and not staying the full time. We requested a refund from the hosts because the whole procedure and accommodation was totally unsatisfactory. We have been ignored by the host. I was extremely disappointed to have to cut our holiday short because of this and would NOT recommend this apartment to anyone. It was a disgrace.
