In the future, if you need more space, we recommend getting a deluxe queen, or a king room, our small cabins are meant to keep prices affordable while being cozy. Thanks for staying with us, Mary. We understand that you were disappointed with the age of the property, the size of the room and the shower and we apologize for the leak! We already have a plan to get it fixed this week and have blocked it out so no one else will experience a leaky shower. While we can fix the shower, we unfortunately can't change the size of the room, but we definitely price them affordably and ensure that anyone who wants to stay in this beautiful part of the country can do so at an excellent rate, in a comfortable bed and clean room. We bought this property 18 months ago and continue to update it every day of the year. It was built in the middle of the last century, (we also of course can't change) and this is one of the reasons we fell in love with its beautiful styling and original knotty pine walls and darling grounds. We hope the rest of your trip was lovely.

Hello Renee - So sorry we did not live up to your expectations at the Lodge. We strive to keep our guests happy, our place incredibly clean, cozy and inviting! The plumbing is a work in progress. We are working every day to upgrade and update this little gem of a Lodge. We definitely offer prices that we feel are commensurate with our vibe and design. We wish we could move faster at the updates, but we will keep at it and take your feedback to heart. There is lots more to do and we are no where near finished. Apologies if we sent you to a closed food truck! They are closed on Tuesdays and we may not have noted that when you checked in. We will strive to do better! Hope the rest of your trip was awesome.

Hello Julia, thanksf or taking the time to review us and we are sorry that we only earned an "okay". It is true, we do not have the type of property/space allotment to offer our guests breakfast and that is why we do not advertise it. We do however have walkability to many great spots to eat including a fantastic breakfast food truck right next door that serves up amazing coffees, fresh baked muffins, breakfast burritos and much more and gives our guests a discount - hope you had a chance to ty out Flamingo! Many of our customers love to go there and dine in our garden with the birds. Makes for a lovely morning routine here at the Lodge. Hope to host you again in the future!
