Minor nit-picking
Couldn't fault Apartamentos California on (almost) everything that matters. Room bright and seemed recently renovated. Main area, bedroom and bathroom - plenty of space in all. Big walk-in shower. Huge breakfast choice. Effective A/C (although centrally controlled, it was just right). Staff friendly, efficient and helpful. Minor personal moans? It could do with a big boost to the in-room wifi. Add A/C in the bedroom and it'd be my perfect apartment.

After reading some of the reviews i nearly didn't book this hotel we are so glad we did very clean apartment food was good different choices. i would say only down side for us was small pool and didn't get a lot of sun .But could use sister hotel very big and sun all day would recommend this hotel

The reception staff are vey helpful. Always polite and friendly Now the inside has gradually been refurbished the outside would benefit a face-lift to improve the look.

Pleasantly surprised as I’d read some bad reviews. Apartment was spacious and beds comfy. My only criticism was the air on turned off when you left the apartment. Food was good and plenty of choice. The pool area was part shaded and part in the sun, we never had a problem getting a sun lounger. There was the option to use the larger pool in the neighbouring hotel but this was much busier and hard to find a sun lounger. Very close to the beach, shops and restaurants (5 min walk) and also to Portaventura World and the station (20 min walk).

Enjoyed our stay
Had a nice 8 night stay in the apartments. Most of the staff were helpful and friendly . Basic pool but our boys loved it! And the life guard was nice! Across the road was a nice restaurant called fox and hounds. Food was good, little bit of variety, the half board option. Would recommend this place. But the kitchen came with no kettle plates or cups/ glasses. Quite modern apartments.

Расположение отеля отличное. До моря 10 минут Чисто, полотенца меняли каждый день, убирали тоже. Кормили отлично. За такую цену отличный отель! Рекомендую!

Decent standard for family holiday, can use facilities at sister hotel over the road which includes a large pool, I’m fussy on food quality and found it satisfactory. Don’t expect a decent English breakfast but that seems to be the same in any hotel 😁 Only news channels on tv.

El servicio de comedor excelente tanto con los camareros de comedor , comida y limpieza exelente. Lo que no me gusto desde el primer día hasta el ultimo era los ruidos creo que los que te asignan los apraramentos deberían valoras si vas con niños que fue mi caso para que te den el apartamento donde menos ruido puede a ver . Hay que tener en cuenta que las habitaciones dan Justo al pasillo donde todos pasan y a todas horas que si gritos, portados, taconeo,etc,etc. Fue imposible dormir así con tanto ruido vibraban los cristales de las ventanas d ellas habitaciones de tantos portasos, mis hijos durmieron fatal esos días de día y de noche.

Los apartamentos estan bien. Pero las cocinas son muy antiguas y muy simples en algunoa apartamentos. Pocos enchufes y por ejemplo sin un simple abridor de botellas

Appartement spacieux mais pas très propre à notre arrivée. Climatisation qui fait beaucoup de bruit. Wifi très compliquée à capter. Très peu de communication. Piscine petite. Décevant.

This Apartments are pretty basic, although it didn't prevent us from having great vacation. Pros: 1.Close to the Llevant Beach 2.Spacious 3.We had half-board- the breakfast was pretty basic, but the dinner food was very well prepared and had 2 different kind of fish, always delicious. 4. Pool was good, though small and sister property across the street had a bigger pool 5. Air conditioner worked very well and was installed in the place where it didn’t blow directly to the bed (a case in a lot of hotels) 6.Spacious balcony 7.Absolutely terrific drying rack – never had problem drying our bathing staff. 8.Supermarket across the street Cons: 1. Have never seen so small a set of utensils in the kitchen. No kettle, no kitchen knives - only dinner knives, no microwave, no sponges or dishwasher liquid. 2. Staff is not very friendly, varies from semi-friendly to borderline rude and almost no English. 3. In the bathroom – no hairdryer, and no surfaces to put your stuff on. So all-in-all it’s good, but better bring some more stuff, like hairdryer, etc.

Hôtel un peu vieillissant et personnel franchement pas aimable. Parking sous sol à déconseiller, car rampe très étroite, très raide, largeur des places ridicule et 20€/nuit. C'est dommage quant au personnel.

A short stop-off in Salou.
We stayed for 4 nights at the end of September. Our stay was good overall; breakfasts were good, as was dinner (unless of course one expects "British" menus). Minor niggles were that although there was free parking nearby one had to cruise around to find a space; and we thought that the onsite parking was a little on the expensive side (e12 per day). However, the total cost of accommodation, meals, and parking etc. represented very good value. (We did not use WiFi on cost grounds). We thought it a little odd that the pool was on the north side of the building, where it received little sun; and rooms on that side were inevitably noisier due to main road traffic.

Bon hôtel, agréable, proche du bord de mer. Formule demi pension, qualité correcte, choix assez large des plats, il manque un peu de variété d'un jour sur l'autre. Rapport qualité prix imbattable.

Bonne situation
Personnel de grande qualité et disponible, nous avions un appartement malheureusement un peu vieillot comparé au reste de l'hôtel qui est très contemporain. Néanmoins l'appartement était très spacieux et surtout propre. étant en demi-pension nous avions droit aux buffets du soir. Ceux-ci étaient correct mais sans plus il faut l'avouer. La variété est sur une semaine et cela manque un peu d'épices (sel). Mais étant donné la différence entre la demi pension et la chambre seule on va pas se plaindre... L'endroit est idéal aussi bien pour partir en excursion que simplement pour aller sur la plage (800m), faire les magasins (300m) ou des sorties et restaurants (300m). En conclusion un hôtel à recommander pour des vacances correct sans être excessives.
