The apartment needs a serious deep cleaning. The microwave and stove were dirty with food, the place had a strong odor of curry and what smelled like wet dog. The bed in the main room creaks loudly with any movement that we got zero sleep in it. The wooden cabinets for the bathroom fall apart if you try to open them. Thankfully, we didnโt spend much time inside, otherwise, we would have had to switch places. It took multiple candles and leaving the windows open all day while we were out to air out the smell to be able to sleep at night. Host was responsive and communicated well and offered air fresheners next day if needed. However, issues were not something that could have been quickly remedied during our stay. If underlying issues were fixed, Iโd actually consider staying again as location is very convenient and the apartment is spacious. Be aware itโs an apartment building and there seem to be children on nearby units that are loud and run around. I have 2 children myself but the running sounded like a stampede at night and can be a bit much if youโre trying to rest.
My daughter cried when she showered because the hot water comes and goes and there is a limited amount of hot water available. The flooring cracks and squeaks so loud when youโre stepping in the tub that it echoes loudly and was very startling to her.
I personally have never left a negative review and am not usually picky, but my family insisted I make others aware as they were very unhappy with their stay.
