The Comfort found in a difficult time
The property is a quiet place, small but warm and cozy. Our family was traveling to go to our dad's funeral and it had been a wonderful place to stay and rest, watch a good show and relieve some emotions. The fun little arcade game was helpful in that too! She was very fast and responding! And was very helpful when we had a hiccup on scheduling and was understanding, and wanted to extend our stay. Its very close to amenities like restaurants and shopping, and its by a cute little park area thats a good walking distance to go and do. Overall a fun little place to be.

Great house!
We loved staying here. It was a nice, central location, close to many things. There was more separation and privacy than in a hotel. I tend to wake up earlier than others in my family, and it was nice to be able to to another room to read or plan the day without waking everyone else up. We will definitely book this place in the future!

Great place for quick visit to SLC.
Accommodations were as described. Very easy check in and communication with Leslie was quick and easy. Close to Sugar House and a quick drive to the University as we were in town to visit our kids who attend the U.

Cute & Cozy
We felt at home in this cozy little bungalow. All the amenities we could need and the property was clean. It is conveniently located and in a quiet area. Communication with the host was quick and very easy. We will definitely be back if we are in the area in the future.

Lacrosse parents stay away from our kids.
This property was perfect for our stay as we frequented the Regional Sports Complex for a lacrosse tournament. It was a quick drive, close to tons of food options from everywhere. Would stay again! Thank your for a great place to put our feet up after a long day.

Very Nice
The house is cute with plenty of room. The owners are currently working on the back yard and driveway and it’s looks like it will be a great improvement. If I travel through Salt Lake City I would stay here again if available.

Good neighborhood…
While the location was safe and convenient for travelers, the place could’ve used much better cleaning, especially in the midst of a pandemic. The kitchen floor had clearly not been mopped or swept. The tub had stains and the small curtains in the second bedroom were filthy. Not to mention the dishes inside of the kitchen cabinets had old food on them. We washed every plate before and after use. I also used the blankets in the master bedroom closet and they did not smell clean.

Im sorry to hear you felt the unit was dirty, and a bit surprised because you didnt mention any issues during your stay, in fact you told us everything was great. It is professionally cleaned by a cleaning crew and they always do an excellent job. The weekend you stayed was the weekend that the demo construction on the yard happened, it is likely there was some dust/dirt settled in the unit from that, and I apologize for any excess dust. The tub however is only 6 months old and Im 100% certain there is no staining on it and it is cleaned well. Thank you for bringing the dishes to our attention, as such we are installing a new dishwasher as it appears the one in there is no longer cleaning well. We are happy to say that we maintain a 4-5 star review over all of the platforms we are listed on including this one, we are happy to make some suggested upgrades such as the new dishwasher to help improve, however it appears the overall the disappointment in your stay is unique to you. Thank you again for your stay.

Cute house and well stocked.
The house was nice and would have loved to stay a few more days. I was told that the keypad was on the front and back, but that was a little confusing. I didn't realize that I had to open the screen to find it. I tried calling on the Ring Doorbell but didn't get a response. So I was unsure that I had the right location.

Want a refund
We arrived to the rental and the AC was broken. There were two loud swamp coolers attempting to do the job of cool the home in 100 degree temps but it was still uncomfortable and very loud. There were also unknown black bugs in the bedroom/bathroom when we returned from dinner. We tried to remove the bugs before heading to bed but with no success the bugs were still crawling on us during the night. We left after that night due to not being able to sleep as well as not wanting to spend another night in a house that has bugs crawling all over. We have been trying ever since to get through to a VRBO agent (per the owners recommendation) to help us get a refund. This whole situation is completely unacceptable.

Thanks for the review, however it seems to be grossly inaccurate. To address your concerns: yes the AC compressor went out just prior to your stay, a new part is on order. We installed 2 portable AC units (not swamp coolers…freon vs water, big difference) in the home, and within 4 hours of you arriving to the property you had the house temps down to 66 degrees, I monitored this with the Nest thermostat to make sure the units were working efficiently and as expected. Perhaps you are unaware, but all AC units and coolers make noise, esp when air is being blasted out of it at the highest setting. Next, it is boxelder bug season in Utah, they are very common throughout the state, however upon inspecting the home we found less than 6 bugs, nevertheless we fogged and sprayed the unit to be sure there wasn’t an issue (outside of the normal quarterly pest control), after the remediation we found a total of 12 dead bugs in the entire house, likely an average amount for any home after receiving treatment. Hardly the “health issue from heat” and “bug infestation” you reported to VRBO. All cancellations are done through the platform, we are unable to process them for you. You were notified of this and failed to take the appropriate action to cancel the booking to receive your refund, instead you left the booking as active, and we did not hear from you again. Our property gets 4-5 star reviews across all the platforms we list on, but we understand we cant make everyone happy. This is our home, not a professional hotel, if you would like a Hilton level stay please feel free to book there, although I know they have AC units that make noise in their rooms too...

this was a perfect property to stay in to get to park city. reasonably priced easy 15 minute drive to slopes, great food options nearby. house big enough for the 3 of us. owner communicative and check in to make sure we got in ok or needed anything!
