We had a fabulous stay. The hosts were wonderful, responsive, and very helpful in navigating the local area. The apartment was well-appointeded, very comfortable, and nearby to skiing and dining options. It was also immaculate and well-maintained. Excellent location and lovely unit

This unit was sparkling clean and very comfortable. Our host Gerry was very nice and thoughtful leaving information in the unit to explore the area. We stayed over Thanksgiving to visit family and the kitchen was perfect for cooking. Located just down the hill from Alta and Brighton plus a short drive to Park City to do some exploring. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to our next trip.

Great stay and great location for skiing

My family of 5 stayed for 3 nights while skiing Solitude, Brighton and Snowbird. The location is great for a short drive to the resorts. Gerry and Jeanette were wonderful hosts. Communication was excellent before and during the trip. Gerry cleared and salted the snow to keep us safe. The property is in great shape and I would happily stay here again!

Great lower level apartment

The owners live up stairs and were wonderful hosts. I was a little worried that the basement unit would feel claustrophobic. Even though the living area did not have any real windows or views it felt warm and very comfortable. The furnishings were some of the best we’ve ever had in a rental. The beds are excellent and the kitchen is well appointed. We highly recommend this rental!

Second Stay As Good as the First

We returned because our first stay in May 2022 was fantastic. See "Better than Stein Erickson" review . Our second stay was also amazing. This is a large, cozy unit with luxury finishes and touches. Newly constructed. Great beds. Well-equipped kitchen. Wifi, entertainment systems first rate. Owners are friendly and helpful. Perfect location -- close to resorts, dining, markets, shopping. Quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Highly recommend. Looking forward to coming back in May 2023.

Ideal Brighton Powder Chasing Stay

Property is at a perfect location for anyone planning to snowboard at Brighton or Solitude. Everything you need is about a 30 minute drive from this residence. Ideal location to get to places when being exhausted after being on the mountain to starting your day off right without having to rush to the mountain. Neighborhood and community is great and provided zero concerns. If planning a stay during winter season when it is snowing, having an AWD/4WD vehicle helps. However you can easily contact the host and see what is recommended dependent on the weather. The unit is connected to the owners residence which by no means an inconvenience at all. Gerry was a great host and appreciated his hospitality. Coming from a place that rarely gets snow to having to drive with a traction law in effect to get to the mountain, Gerry provided great tips on how to get to where we needed. What begin as an anxious concern was reassured by him being happy to share his experiences as a resident in the area. Beyond that he was open to responding to any questions we had and left us alone. Great location and host. Would recommend for anyone looking for a convenient and cozy space!

An Oasis of Comfort and Calm

We loved our stay in Cottonwood Heights. Gerry & Jeanette were wonderful hosts. Present at all the right times (like clearing the walk, the driveway and our car in the mornings) but otherwise invisible. They were very helpful with suggestions and guidance on accessing the hills. They have put a lot of thought into our needs as a guest - especially skiers/boarders. There are hooks aplenty for clothes, boots and gear. There were biscotti for the morning coffee, universal chargers for electronics, plenty of plugs and USB slots in the bedrooms, heated floor in the bathroom, great showers and a very high end finish to everything. Nothing that we needed or wanted was missing. We stayed with myself and my two young adult children. The two king beds were firmer than we were used to, but we had no problem sleeping. The location is stunning and perfectly situated at the bottom of Big Cottonwood Canyon access. It was convenient from the airport, to visit the city, and to go to Park City Resort, Brighton and Solitude and Alta and Snowbird. We easily could have accessed Snowbasin as well. If you are considering this vacation rental, don't hesitate - you will not be disappointed. Thanks again to Jeanette and Gerry.

Lovely Cottonwood Heights Home

For the most part, we enjoyed our stay in this lovely Cottonwood Heights home. The location is outstanding in that it is very near several area ski resorts. The property is located in the bottom level of a residence and is accessible via a set of concrete steps in the side backyard. A little difficult getting all of our luggage down, but once we were in, we enjoyed the clean and modern space. The property manager greeted us that evening to answer questions and to warn us that we may hear their dogs upstairs.During the second half of our 5-night visit, the property mgr hosted some family upstairs in the main residence. We could hear lots of footsteps and running, the dogs barking and running with their new visitors, and our vehicle felt boxed in with the visiting family parking very close to our vehicle in the driveway. We had to have someone navigate backing out of the driveway whenever we left the property once the visiting family was there. We also received a surprise "visitor" one morning when a small child opened the door to our rental area from the main residence and walked right in. We did not realize that the door to the main residence was left unlocked (by the owner) and anyone could have just walked into our space unannounced. That was a little unsettling.This property was beautiful and convenient, but we were disappointed with the noise, parking, and lack of privacy during the second half of our stay.

This place was a great location in a beautiful neighborhood for convenience to Salt Lake and Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude, Park City and Deer Valley. The unit was spacious with two large bedrooms and was clean and well taken care of. Gerry was a great host and he checked to make sure we were good and needed anything. Would definitely be coming back to this rental.

This was a great place to stay. VERY CLEAN! Location is centrally located close to Alta/Snowbird; Brighton/Solitude and Deer Valley/Park City. Owners were extremely nice and accommodating. You can tell they take pride in their VRBO!

Great Location!

The property owner allowed us to arrive 2 hours earlier than the posted check-in time which was very helpful. He also checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was good with the house and to see if we had any question. Very clean, two large bedrooms with King beds and in an excellent location!

Seriously. Luxe unit with high end finishes, thoughtful details down to heated bathroom floors, and well located power outlets for phones, Ipads, etc. Perfect condition. like brand new condition. Private entrance. Heavenly beds. High end neighborhood, quiet, peaceful. Super helpful hosts. Perfect location central to ski resorts and SLC. Can't wait to return.

Weekend Family Ski Getaway

This property was exactly as advertised. Very spacious and well equipped. Great location for Skiing Brighton/Solitude or Alta/Snowbird. We skied 3 of the 4 on our long weekend. The property manager was very friendly and provided great recommendations that helped us to have a more enjoyable stay. We look forward to staying here again!
