Fiddlestix-Relax op Beautiful Hatteras Island

Fiddlestix is ​​de perfecte plek om te ontspannen op het prachtige eiland Hatteras. Het huis ligt op slechts 2 loten terug van de Atlantische Oceaan waardoor het een gemakkelijke wandeling over de zandduinen naar mijlen van prachtige stranden is. Het is perfect voor het verzamelen van schelpen, wandelen of zonnebaden terwijl u geniet van de bezienswaardigheden en geluiden van de oceaan. Pamlico Sound is een geweldig begin & einde van dagen vol watersporten, zoals kajakken, windsurfen, kiteboarden en diepzeevissen, beschikbaar langs de Outer Banks.

De slaapkamer is op de bovenste belangrijkste niveau met een kingsize bed, bad en een flatscreen-tv met dvd-speler. De woonkamer heeft een flatscreen-tv met een dvd-speler om te spelen terwijl u spelletjes speelt aan de grote eettafel. De volledig uitgeruste keuken biedt voldoende ruimte voor het bereiden van maaltijden. Er is een afgeschermde veranda van de keuken om zonsondergangen te bekijken met een glas wijn of 's ochtends koffie te drinken. Er zijn talloze dekken met een verscheidenheid aan verplaatsbare stoelen voor verschillende behoeften.

Het lagere niveau heeft 3 slaapkamers, een complete badkamer en een bijkeuken met full size wasmachine en droger voor uw gemak. Een slaapkamer heeft een queensize bed, de andere heeft een tweepersoonsbed en de 3e heeft 2 aparte bedden. Alle kamers hebben kabel-tv met dvd-spelers. Er zijn veel als boeken, verschillende games, en een aantal kinderspeelgoed voor iedereen om van te genieten. Het maaiveld heeft een buitendouche met warm water om het zand weg te spoelen voordat u naar binnen gaat na een ontspannende dag op het strand. Er is ook ruimte om 2 voertuigen onder het huis te parkeren, evenals extra parkeergelegenheid op de oprit.

Het is gelegen in Salvo, NC in de tri-steden van Rodanthe, Waves & Salvo. De Atlantische Oceaan en Pamlico Sound zijn beide zichtbaar vanaf het bovendek op dit smalle barrière-eiland. De locatie op Colony Dr. is een mooie rustige straat waar de geluiden van de oceaan de stilte doordringen. Het is geweldig om te wandelen en fietsen of gewoon rondhangen. Het is handig voor uitstapjes zoals Hatteras Island Lighthouse, gratis ferry naar Ocracoke, Pea Island Bird Sanctuary, winkels en restaurants in Nags Head, diepzeevissen chartervluchten, en nog veel, veel meer.

Er is voor elk wat wils in de Outer Banks of North Carolina. Fiddlestix bevindt zich in het midden van al het plezier !!

Fiddlestix was a lovely house. The welcome gifts were a delightful bonus. Unfortunately, the twin bedrooms' television was broken, but that didn't affect us at all. I believed that we watched television a total of 6 times in our 9 day stay. The master shower was a bit small, and I wish there were a couple of extra towels, but overall, it was a very enjoyable stay and we loved the location and easy access to the beach. Plenty of room for everyone with lots of activities within a short distance.

All the right bits. This property ticked all the right boxes for our group. The living room has ample seating for 11 or more. Large eating table seats 8 and is open to the living room. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking items and everything was fully functional. Bedrooms and bathrooms were all well kept and mattresses comfy. Lots of room on multiple decks to enjoy different portions of the day. We liked the screen porch in the morning with coffee since it kept the sun out of our eyes. In the evenings, the upper porch was a relaxing with a nice mix of shade and sun. At ground level there are two parking spots beneath the house, one with a picnic table. This provided an area late at night to hang out. The beach is in reasonable walking distance (entrance across street 2 houses down); just stay on the path since the shrubbery includes some tiny but thorny cacti. The local shops were more sedate than upper Hwy 12 which is a nice change of pace. Convenient stores are very close but a full grocery store is 20 minutes drive. There are multiple rental and surf sport nearby for recreation and a great swimming hole/state park within1 mile. The water there is about 2.5 ft deep for hundreds of feet with soft sand and clear water. Great for little ones.

Beautiful and Relaxing Vacation Spot!

I wanted to take my parents, siblings, and niece to the beach this summer as a delayed Christmas gift and Santa certainly delivered! Carol and Ken's home is beautiful, spacious, and a very short walk to a wonderful (and not too crowded) beach. The home was nicely decorated and had more than enough amenities for us. We managed to pack mostly everything we needed, but if you forget anything there is a Dollar General very nearby and a Food Lion about 20 minutes away. I also STRONGLY recommend checking out the Waves Market and Deli; it's delicious very reasonably priced!All in all, an absolutely wonderful vacation and I can't recommend Fiddlestix enough! If we make another trip down to OBX I certainly plan on checking the availability of the property :)

This place is amazing ! Fun at Fiddlestix

We had a wonderful stay at Fiddlestix. The house is in a great location. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The beach is a short but difficult walk over the dunes and not accessible for my elderly mother. Although she opted to stay back while we went to the beach, she enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch area and reading. There was something for everyone. Thank you for providing a beautiful place for our vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located between Nags Head and Hatteras Island so if traveling north or south, nothing is too far. Very clean and well taken care of. We were two families with kids. The house was very workable for multiple adults and kids. The house has all the amenities you need. The proximity to the beach was great, a short 5 min. walk. The host was absolutely great and very responsive. One con would be the size of the bedrooms. They are on the small side, so it you need to put an air mattress down, there really isn’t much space. Not a problem, just wanted to mention it. Overall a great value for a stay this close to the beach!

Our Week Stay at Fiddlestix

We had a fantastic stay at your beach house! Everything was as described. Host was very friendly and responded to all questions / concerns I had. Walk to beach was short. Only issues we had was transporting the storage wagon over the dunes, but that wasn’t too bad. There was one area walking to the beach, through the path between the homes, where a large concrete stone was protruding from ground. Whoever walks through there should be mindful not to hit with foot, as my brother did, or you may get injured. This is not hosts responsibility but just mentioning it for whoever is reading this to pay att. Plenty of activities and restaurants right on Hateras Island. This was our first trip to OBX and we all had a great time! We had 3 children with us and the house was well equipped with books, tV programs and safe for them to wander without getting into any trouble (well equipment child gate on top floor and latched gates on all levels of the outside decks.) The beach itself was perfect for me and my brother, since we love swimming through the waves. The day beach area about 2 miles away was perfect for all members of our family. We must have walked out over 200 yards and water was still only up to my knees. There is an amazing water park about an hour away on route 158 which we utilized for 1 entire day. The NC Aquarium is not too far away either and nice spot to visit with family. Hope to stay again next year or whenever my family is free again! Thank you for your hospitality!

What a great stay......we were two families and had more than enough space. The house is cozy, in a quiet neighborhood and has everything you need for a fun vacation. Girl’s trip…

My teenage daughter, my college roommate, and her two daughters just enjoyed a lovely stay at Fiddlestix. The house was just what we wanted and needed. There was plenty of room, great outdoor spaces and in close proximity to everything we wanted to do. We watched the sunrise over the Atlantic, after a short walk to the beach and watched sunsets over the sound, after a quick bike ride. We couldn’t have asked for more! Perfect house

This house is perfect for a family with older and younger kids. All my children are adult and their own level. There are a baby gates everywhere which was perfect for my granddaughter. There is 3 flights of stair which wasn’t the best for my old lady hips lol but all in all this was an amazing home to stay in for the week.

We had a wonderful stay at Fiddlestix. All the comforts you would need. Very manageable walk to the beach and once there, the beach was amazing. Outdoor shower was a huge plus. The double deck was wonderful. We cooked most meals at Fiddlestix and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of space for our family - We were 4 adults and 2 kids - three generations.
