We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Stadtkrug. The location is excellent and very close to all sites of interest. The breakfast was excellent and the service equally excellent. It was quiet and very comfortable. The staff were very responsive to any situation that may come up. Overall, I would recommend it highly.

Great location and friendly staff!
Great historic location, in a pedestrian street full of restaurants and shops. Easy to get to/from the main train station with buses every 3-5 min just around the corner. Short 10 min walk to historic Salzburg downtown, and just steps away from the main road/staircase leading to Kapuzinerberg, a great hiking area with magnificent views of the city and the Hohensalzburg. In the property, tasty breakfast and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

The people at the check in desk were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and the restaurant and bar on site was very convenient. Would def stay again.

Met every expectation
Charming, very old building just across the river from the Alstadt. Updated bathrooms and high quality beds and bedding. Lovely breakfast, comfortable restaurant and very fun little bar. Very friendly and helpful staff made our stay most enjoyable.

Stadtkrug was a wonderful hotel. The room was great, the beds comfortable, the staff so nice and attentive and the hotel was wonderfully situated. We ate at the restaurant in the lobby of the hotel one evening and the food was excellent. The one note I would make is that visitors need to be able to climb stairs to get into the lobby and we had to go down some stairs on our floor to get into our room. If stairs are a problem for a given guest then this, sadly, might not be the best choice for him/her. I look forward to staying at Stadtkrug again.

The street noise was awful. We could it sleep very well . The bar was in the first level and stayed open really late. The sheet were very worn and itchy.

Wonderful and historic family run hotel. Owners checked us in and were very accommodating. Great location. Literally across the street from the old town. I was worried about OFF SITE parking but it was EASY and is only a short walk to hotel. The hotel has great breakfast and a wonderful restaurant too. Would rate 11 on a 10 if I could.

Udmærket hotel men med en restaurant og en bar i stueetagen. Beliggenhed i gågade gjorde at det var svært at parkere. Værelset er god fin kvalitet, men havde udsigt til en væg. Trods elevator var der mange trapper som skulle forceres.

Nice little hotel in the heart of Salzburg.
The little hotel is perfectly located to explore Salzburg. It is an old building converted to a hotel, that is why you have to go up and down to go between “adjacent” room. The hotel personnel is very pleasant.

This place is AMAZING! going from the location, to the rooms, to the food, to the comfort, the kindness and client service. We had always wanted to stay in Salzburg, Austria, and this is where we stayed -- in the hotel district! Walking across the bridge to Getreidegasse was only a block away, and everything else was in the area. Would stay at Stadtkrug again.

Hotellet var litet och mysigt men lyhört från korridor. AC:n lät fruktansvärt och vi kunde inte sova så vi fick byta rum till natt 2. Det var nästan samma ljud på denna. Frukosten som serverades var ost o delikatesser på ett fat och en yoghurt. Ägg med olika varianter fanns att beställa. Hotellet ligger väldigt nära utefter gågatan och närhet till gamla stan.

This beautifully appointed historic building is in the old town of Salzburg. Even on a hot day, it was walkably close to sights and shaded cafes. Included breakfast was plentiful. Bathroom facilities were modern. Air conditioning was surely a plus.

The property was awesome and the decor was outstanding! Loved the restaurant and bar area. Our room was spacious and very easily accessible for my mother who has some mobility issues. There are a few stairs but also an elevator. Rooms were air conditioned and stayed cool. Kitchen was well equipped. Positioned very well and so easy to access shopping and dining.
