  • Ik huur al 10 jaar veel tevreden terugkerende klanten. Als dit appartement is geboekt, zie mijn andere twee appartementen op VRBO # 's 816.267 en 816.268. Ze zijn allemaal bij de Cove, een kleine groep appartementen aan het strand met uitzicht op de oceaan, op slechts 200 meter van de oceaan. Dit moderne appartement dient als thuisbasis van waaruit u kunt het schiereiland te verkennen. Schik diepzee duiken en sportvissen excursies met The Dive Academy. U kunt snorkelen bij een aantal van de mooiste stranden, met inbegrip van Playa Rincon, Playa Las Galeras, El Valle, en Playa Fronton. Doorgewinterde duikers kunnen verkennen lokale scheepswrakken.

    Kom kijken de bultrug walvissen schenden uit het water, van januari tot maart, elk jaar, als ze komen om te paren en hun nakomelingen !!!

    Tussen u en de oceaan is het zwembad, met een bar in het water omhoog. Grill lokale vis op de houtskool barbecue, of blijf binnen en koken in de volledig uitgeruste keuken. Het beschikt over een uitzicht op de baai van Samana, en een eigen strand, op slechts een steenworp afstand.

    Aangezien ik zelf nog twee andere appartementen, kan ik geschikt voor groepen van maximaal 12 personen.

Beautiful, very quiet, very private vacation rental. Very nice clean beach, cove looking out on the sea. Grounds very well kept. Owner's on-site manager and cleaning staff attentive and helpful.

Nuestra estadía fue buena. Las habitaciones estaban limpias, el lugar tranquilo y el personal muy amable. Ese fin de semana estaban realizando algunos trabajos en el kiosko de la piscina, por lo que no pudimos disfrutar de esa área, y eso hizo que la experiencia no fuera tan completa como esperábamos. Además, la playa tenía algo de sargazo y un ligero mal olor. Aun así, todo lo demás estuvo muy bien. Felicitaciones a Coco y a los demás empleados por su excelente atención y buen servicio.

A week of paradise

The condo is amazing. You are secluded and away from everything. Patrick was awesome to work with and Coco was amazing! They both assured we had everything we wanted…Coco even picked up some bananas for me. We loved hanging out at the pool and visiting with other guests. It was a great week of reconnecting with my husband. Even got one of the puzzles out and did it together.

Mi experiencia en el hotel fue muy buena. Todo estuvo súper bien: la piscina impecable, el personal muy amable, las habitaciones limpias y cómodas, el ambiente general excelente. ¡Hasta los detalles como las lámparas me gustaron! Lo único negativo fue la playa. Lamentablemente estaba llena de sargazo, parecía una pila interminable y no pude disfrutar del mar como esperaba. Ojalá que cuando vuelva ya esté limpia, porque con eso resuelto, la estadía sería perfecta. En resumen, todo lo demás estuvo nítido. Volvería sin pensarlo, esperando poder disfrutar también de la playa la próxima vez. Gracias al coco una magnífica persona

The only issues which I encountered with this property were a check-in. The property is located behind a gated community. I was told that the color of the door to get into the community was red. We spent about an hour looking for the red door, but it was actually black. The phone number of the contact person which I was given was disconnected. Luckily, we stopped at the black door since it was the only gated community around.

¡Un destino al que siempre da gusto volver en familia! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Samaná es, sin duda, nuestro lugar de escapada familiar por excelencia. Hemos ido en múltiples ocasiones y la experiencia siempre mantiene un estándar altísimo de calidad y calidez. En esta última visita nos encontramos con un poco de sargazo en algunas zonas, algo que a veces puede ser un poco incómodo, pero la ventaja de Samaná es que siempre —pero siempre— encuentras un rincón o una playita escondida con aguas cristalinas, tranquilas y perfectas para disfrutar sin complicaciones. La diversidad de su costa hace que nunca te quedes sin una excelente opción para darte un buen baño. Otro punto súper destacable es la hospitalidad. Atenciones de primera, personal siempre servicial, atento y con una sonrisa que te hace sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. La combinación de sus paisajes, la buena comida de la zona y el trato de su gente hace que sigamos eligiéndolo año tras año. ¡Totalmente recomendado para familias que buscan descansar, explorar hermosas playas y disfrutar de un servicio excelente! Sin duda, ya estamos pensando en la próxima vuelta.

Excellent, quiet, and very clean place

It's an excellent choice for people who wants to be on a quiet place with a (almost) private beach for themselves and a beautiful swiming pool. Is a 5 minute drive from the town of Las Galeras with their beautiful beach (same name) and little but very good restaurants. I think i have almost 10 years coming and is wonderful every time i come.

GREAT STAY

This is a great place to stay, very clean, organized and the service from Coco y awesome!!. I recommend it to anyone that wants a peaceful place in the Samanà Peninsula. I will come back soon !!!!

Excellent place!!

I was there for a short time with my friends but I wish I made arrangements to stay longer. I needed more time to visit some of the beautiful area beaches. At first I was skeptical because where can you find a two bedroom two bath condo right on the ocean, 100 feet to the beach for about $100? Great deal, nice apartment and great location, will be coming back!

3 month adventure

The Cove is a little bit of paradise situated just outside the delightful, typical Dominican town of Las Galeras. This is where you will also find our favorite beach La Playita. This is one of many beaches in the area. There's lots to see and do. Our apartment was much larger than I thought it would be and the view was beautiful. It was clean and everything worked. No problem with anything. Coco, the manager will do anything for you and get anything you need. He is awesome. We would learn more Spanish to go back for a visit. The owner, Patrick, was quick to respond and very helpful with our booking and advice as to what to do in the area and how to get there. We had a very good adventure and would definitely go back.

Excellent property! A tropical paradise within a beautiful island!

It was such a pleasure to be there when Patrick was there to show us around. It is a wonderful special place, so beautiful and so peaceful. Coco did everything possible to make us happy. A beautiful place to relax recharge and to get away from the main stream resorts. Most of the time we have the beach to ourselves! Thank you again Patrick for making us feel at home!

Perfect vacation

Amazing location and the apt has everything you need. Close to fantastic beaches and great restaurants. Eat at El Cabito is a must. The view from the apartment is fabulous and Coco was so helpful. We definitely want to be back.

The Cove is a piece of paradise. It is quiet and peaceful. The community is very welcoming and they make you feel like a part of the family. Coco and his team are very helpful. My husband and I are already planning for next year. Can't wait to see everyone again. Debbie and Chris

Piece of Heaven On Earth!

Staying at the Cove was the best place that my husband and I have ever stayed at. The spacious apartment with everything you can think of and more. Fully equipped kitchen, linens,towels and everything extremely clean. Beautiful pool and grounds, and very safe. To top it of Coco the person in charge at the property goes over and beyond to make your stay even more special. He made us feel like we were truly home. Patrick the apartment owner was quick in responding and gave us so many information about places to visit and things to do, that makes me want to already reserve again for next year.

Wonderful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Patrick is very professional and responds quickly to any questions or problems you may have through email. All of the staff was wonderful and attentive. We don't know if it is always this way, but we basically had the beach to ourselves, and what a beautiful beach it is! It was great for swimming, a little rocky, but it is so clear you were able to see where you are stepping. The pool and grounds were kept beautifully. Everyone was so friendly. It is a very comfortable unit and the AC units worked well. There is a colmado and fish shack within walking distances. We were able to catch the fisherman as they were coming in for the day and purchase right from the boat. We were hesitant to rent a car, so we chose to use a taxi, which was very reliable but can get expensive, so we tried a guagua and for those who are adventurous, it was great! It was a wonderful experience and great views while traveling. We would definitely take a guagua again. Coco helped us to catch it, which was right outside the gate. Carmen made a fantastic meal for us, traditional Dominican but superb and she cleaned up afterward. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect getaway

Perfect beach and pool view nice and clean grounds and comfortable condo. We spent 4 days at the Cove in las Galeras Samana and had a wonderful time I love the seclusion it was truly relaxing. The property owner Patrick although wasn't on the premise was great to work with he gave us good directions but we also found that google maps works perfectly there. The property host Coco was friendly and very helpful to work with. Orgita was our cook she made us so amazing food including a freshly caught fish. Fama was our tour guide he gave us some good tips for places to go see and explore. Definitely will come back!!
