Arrived at the airport and tried to call the hotel for a shuttle, the number did not work.
Got to the hotel, via Uber, and checked in. Showed the receptionist the issue with trying to call and merely got a shrug.
The room only had 1 light switch that controls the bathroom lights; this is fine if you’re staying alone. If your spouse gets up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, expect to see the lights turn on in the room. Also, the barn door used for the bathroom doesn’t remain shut (no privacy there).
Already had a reservation for another night before our departing flight. Dropped off the rental car at the airport and called for a shuttle back to the hotel. The driver pulled in (on two tires), didn’t say a word the entire ride to the hotel (which isn’t a big deal) and drove like a bat out of hell. We thought we were going to hit 5 separate vehicles in a 4 mile drive. Would have gladly paid the $12 for an Uber, again.
Overall not thrilled with staying here. San Antonio area was okay, but would recommend another hotel.
