Beautiful hotel, great location, astonishing views of snow capped mountains. Very good service. Breakfast is very extensive in a setting with unforgettable views. Beautiful located 18 holes golf course with very reasonable greenfees and club rental (we got TaylorMade clubs and a good push cart). Nice swimming pool (indoors and outdoors) and spa. Hotel is not cheap but unique and after all worth the money. Only minus point is the Patagonia Cafe: it is completely unbelievable that a hotel with all the before mentioned superior points can accept a so low food quality (the worst possible pub food), with a so lousy service (unfriendly and impersonal staff) against ridiculous prices. Problem is that on most days there are not many alternatives in the neighbourhood (except the very expensive other restaurant in the hotel). We recommend Il Gabbiano: delicious Italian food reasonable priced and a great wine cellar with a lot of Argentinian options; unfortunately it is only open from wednesday to sunday.
