Watch out for this place! We checked in at 3:30pm and put our luggage in the room. My husband and I left to have dinner and drinks only to come back at 11:00pm to have our room given to someone else! Mind you, this hotel doesn’t have a live person on the premises so everything is done over the phone and door codes are sent electronically.
The person over the phone tried to send the young man in our room to another room next door giving him another code. When he opened the door, the room was already rented out! So yes, they did it again!
My husband and I did end up allowing the young man to stay in our original room since he had already slept in the bed. Needless to say the hotel said they were sorry but they overbooked and didn’t have a room for us. How is this if we’ve already checked in, paid and left our luggage in our room?? They didn’t even offer to help us find a nearby hotel for the inconvenience.
My husband and I ended up sleeping in our car for a few hours to build up enough energy to eventually drive home.
This is unacceptable. The problem is that this establishment is trying to get away with not having a human on the premises to cut cost however, it is at the clients expense. If you want to chance not actually having a room, even after you’ve checked in, then this is the place for you.
