The rooms are not sound proof and it’s very noisy. You can clearly hear what the guy next door says word by word. On my second night hear a guy just walked in to my room at 2 o’clock at night. I believe one key can open are doors in this property which is very unsafe.

It was a very good place for fews days. Sam and their mates were very nicely and helpfully. Everyday the room was perfectly cleaned by very friendly maids. The area is surrounded by many restaurants, many shop center and very close to the airport. If you'll want to go San Diego center its not expensive at all with Uber. Good place good room good people See you soon !

You get what you pay for here. So not bad. Rooms are decent. Parking is easy but tight fitted. Water pressure sucks and barely gets warm so don’t expect a good hot shower. A/C doesn’t blow very well so would hate to be here in the summer and it’s winter now. But overall good bang for your buck. Oh ya the bed doesn’t sleep well.

i was locked out of my room and another tentant came out and started yelling at me at the top of his lungs because i was trying to get my boyfriend to come and meet me so he can open the door. we got kicked out and i had to pay the funds. there was no one at the front desk to help me and didn’t even bother to hear us out

I stayed at Hotel Aqua Nar over New Year's weekend. I had a delightful experience. Sam, who greeted me at the front desk was both polite and helpful.. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay that weekend and look forward to my next visit.

The Kingsize bed is the Size of a sleeping bag which is false advertisement the water was cold and I am not exaggerating they didn’t have water heaters or they would not turn up the heat they told us to wait until the next day to switch rooms and they would not refund us claiming the third party website we purchased the property from was responsible. Overall the worst experience you can have. I left that property that evening to another place that was more comfortable and better accommodated. My wife was not happy which made it worse on me lol. Do not stay here take my advice your better off at a Roach Motel because this place was worse than that.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Walkable distance to the marina and easy pickup for Uber's and lyfts. Perfect for our one night stay.

Odour in room,window can't be opened, can't get fresh air in. No telephone use in the whole hotel, owner doesn't care. I won't recommend to anyone.

Rooms have been remodeled in last couple of years decently. Room was clean and better than a motel 6 or something on that level. The location is good. That being said, the property lacks certain simple amenities like ice and the tv didn't turn off/on or volume work without unplugging it from the wall. My biggest issue was that I booked initially for one night less than needed. I called Expedia (because the website would not let me adjust the booking) that night and they could not help. I called the hotel and they reassured me adding a night was not a problem. They would not give me a confirmation number. I called back a week before the trip and got the same spiel, it was all good, they had entered a note in their system and I was good for the additional night. When we got to the hotel, I was told I did not have the room and there was no note. Eventually, after I explained it 5 times, the desk person looked at the computer and decided I could stay in that room. On the day before I was supposed to leave, I got a call from the hotel saying my stuff was still in the room and when was I going to come get it. I again, had to explain multiple times that I had talked to someone on at least 4 occasions about this and was told we would be fine. Eventually, they said ok, we will give you another night. That being said, the hotel lobby was not open when I checked out at 9am and I dropped the key. I have not received any invoice and I do not know whether they charged me more or how much.

This is a affordable and quiet place to stay at, the room was clean and modern. There wasn’t no problem with look of room but I gave it a 4 star due to the deposit you give doesn’t get back and I didn’t smoke or leave anything bad but overall it was a not bad stay

This place is not well kept. We booked 4 nights and didn't even stay one. TV was broken, mold everywhere, sheets we're not clean, bathroom barely functioned, and the room was tiny.

You get what you pay for
Being greeted by a $10 “service fee” was something I wasn’t expecting and that felt a bit scammy. My room was clean but the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Also right above the room I stayed in was a couple that lived there full time and made constant noise. The A/C unit was on its last legs and made a horrible sound the whole time I was there. Overall, wouldn’t stay here again but it wasn’t as bad as other reviews made it out to be. This is a motel - not a hotel by the way.

Nice hotel in a good area. Beds were a bit squeaky when you first get on them, but other than that it was perfect. Nice little coffee house across the street.
