Hotel Villa Grancassa , a 20 minuti d'auto da piste di sci di fondo

Per chi vuole godersi un weekend a 20 minuti d'auto dalle piste di sci di fondo di Forca d'Acero in un delizioso paesino dove la gente è ospitale, questo è il posto giusto. Il personale è di una gentilezza imbarazzante e sopperisce magari ad altri aspetti come per esempio le camere da tre stelle con solo doccia e non vasca da bagno. Colazione dignitosa.

Great experience

A lovely small hotel set in an absolutely charming little village, an easy 20-30 minutes drive to Cassino (our reason for being there). Helpful staff, the one dinner we had was very tasty. Otherwise an easy walk to the village. Would have no hesitation in going back and recommend it highly.

Truly a Hidden Treasure.

My wife and two adult children were going to Pescasseroli in the middle of the Abruzzo National Forest. I decided to book this hotel, which is about a 45 minute drive away, because it was less expensive than the Pescasseroli hotels listed on Hotels.com. My family and I loved this hotel and the town. The hotel was converted from a manor and it has a very nice garden and patio area. The staff were very friendly (of course it might help that I speak Italian). If you go there, go to a restaurant in the center of town which is about a 5 minute walk away. I can’t remember the exact name of the restaurant, but I believe it had the Italian word for rooster (“gallo”) in it. In any event ask for the restaurant owned by Marcelo from Rome. There are only two restaurants in the center of town so you should be able to find it. On this trip, I was in Italy for two weeks. All of my family members agreed that the meals we had at this restaurant were the best during that two week period. They were also the most reasonably priced.
