'Room was ok, a little dusty, I by mistake booked smoking instead of nonsmoking, the staff at the check did not help in any way to try in place me and my kids in a nonsmoking room stating that is what I booked, didn't even bother to check if it could be changed. I did like that the room had a window I could open so that helped a little. 'Had a mostly positive experience with this location. Got a text to do a check- in before arriving to save time... then they just asked the same info when I got there so didn't need to do that. Everything in the room was clean and worked fine: hair dryer, coffee maker, fridge, microwave. Wasn't a fan of the desk chair in the room; it looks like a basic chair, but leans back far and way too easy. We almost fell off it every time we sat there. 'For the price, I found it to be quite nice. It was simple, doesn't look like much from the outside, but the rooms were very clean. They also use the newer, quieter air conditioners, as opposed to the old, loud things still far too common at budget hotels in the U.S. Pool was clean and cool. Nice soft lighting around the beds for winding down. I would stay here again, no hesitation. '

'I was incredibly disappointed in the conditions of the hotel. It is very very ran down. The bug situation is insane. It’s common sense there would be bugs by a lake but wow. Can’t even open your sliding door to the patio or you’ll be swatting mosquitos and whatever else was flying around that they claimed weren’t mosquitos. However, my daughter and I woke up with several bites. Management was great. They understood and allowed us to check out and obtain a refund. '
