Mooi appartement met 1 slaapkamer minuten naar SFO in Victorian Home (Can sleep 4)

Ons Victoriaanse huis met 2 eenheden en werd gebouwd in 1906. De onderste eenheid is een volledig gescheiden appartement met 1 slaapkamer. We hebben uitgebreid werk gedaan op het huis en op het land. Het is een dubbel groot perceel, dus de helft van het land is aangelegd met waterval en vijver met vis, meer dan 15 soorten Hawaiiaanse en Polynesische planten en een uitgestrekte tuin. Let op: vanwege de ernstige droogte hebben we het gazon niet meer bewaterd. Het is een huis met 2 eenheden, we wonen boven en Halekipa (het gasthuis) bevindt zich op het eerste niveau. Onze 1 slaapkamer appartement beschikt over bamboe houten vloeren, tapijt in de slaapkamer, full size wasmachine en droger in eenheid, bijgewerkte apparaten, queen size bed en een slaapbank in de woonkamer. Het past 4. Er zijn ook extra kussens, dekens, lakens en handdoeken voor u. We hebben ook een paar dingen voor kinderen (slaapzakken voor jongens en meisjes en een paar spelletjes ... en voegen daar nog aan toe. De woning is uitgerust met High speed WIFI en kabel T. V. (Verbazingwekkend) ook. Deze accommodatie wordt ook genoemd als het Kaululehua Hawaiian Cultural Center. Je zult ook een dansstudio en een bibliotheek op het land opmerken. Een keer per week zijn er lessen (dans) en een keer per maand lessen over culturele kunsten / ambachten (weven en lei maken). Ons huis werd in 2011 bekroond met de Beautification Award voor South San Francisco voor het mooiste huis in South San Francisco!
Wij zijn gevestigd in het centrum van South San Francisco (SSF), alle restaurants liggen op loopafstand (Starbucks, Pete's, Subway, meerdere Chinese en Mexicaanse, Thaise, Vietnamese, Koreaanse, Italiaanse, Argentijnse, Amerikaanse, Japanse en meer). Er zijn een paar supermarkten, slijterijen en drogisterijen binnen een blok. Enkele van onze favoriete restaurants: voor ontbijt - kabelbaancafé (niets bijzonders, gewoon snel goed ouderwets ontbijt), voor lunch - La Morena (beste al pastor nacho's, taco's en borden), voor diner - Izanami (geweldige specials, gloednieuw en leuke sfeer. Als je nog nooit snoep van See hebt gehad, is de fabriek in de straat waar je misschien monsters wilt nemen ;-)
Alles wat u nodig zou kunnen hebben is binnen 1 mijl (drogisterijen, warenhuizen, restaurantketens enz ..) De meeste mensen blijven op onze plek om naar de site te gaan. Er is 1 parkeerplaats aangewezen voor onze gast, maar als u niet met de bus rijdt, bevindt zich binnen 1 blok, Trein (Cal. Trein) is 4 blokken, Bart is 10 blokken verderop. Al deze kunnen je ergens interessants brengen. Het centrum van San Francisco ligt op ongeveer 15 minuten rijden. Naast San Francisco moet je tijd maken om onze kust te verkennen, met name het centrum van Pacifica, en langs de beroemde snelweg 1 te varen om het centrum van Half Moon Bay te bezoeken!
We kijken uit naar prettige en vriendelijke gasten. We zijn gemakkelijk in de omgang en verwachten dat onze gasten dat ook zijn.

Good place to stay but to far from the city

Good accomodation. Not super but good. Sometimes very noisy due to the location nearby SF International Airport. Area is good and safe but far from the city. We used a rental car and take us 45 minuts to the City. With public transport it will be longer.

The five star reviews are not legit

This was my first time booking a vacation through vrbo and i regret it. I am not sure how the property can be listed as an A with cleanliness when we found dirty towels, toilet paper missing on day 1 upon arrival, toilet broken down next morning and we couldnt flush it and hours later i get the message it is fixed. The lock wasnt working, my kids were out at 9.30 in th night where the code wasnt workng and the owner didnt even pick our phone or answered our text despite being there ( he answered the helper person but not a tired mom with tired kids in the night). Please dont trust the reviews- they are all made up. The lake has dirty green water, not even circlauting or being changed and the window seal has insects trapped in it. Please make fun memories elsewhere and dont make the mistake I did.

Hawaiian hideaway

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy apartment and appreciated the cold water bottles waiting in the refrigerator and the coffee. The little bowl of snacks and bottle of wine were a nice touch, too, although we didn’t indulge. The gardens are lovely and the place is tucked in by the gardens. The week we stayed there was construction across the street during the weekdays so it was a bit loud at times. We came and went during the day so it didn’t bother us much. One the night there was a metal plate or something on the road that banged loudly every time a car drove over it. We couldn’t get the TV to work, seemed like the cable wasn’t hooked up. Only one night when we wanted to watch TV so not a big deal. The low flush toilet was a bit frustrating but it worked. Found two great places to eat close by for breakfast and Italian dinner. Very convenient and easy to drive to places in San Francisco. The parking spot was heaven as parking can be a challenge around town.

South San Fran Gem

This place is great. The location is excellent. Short walk to Sign Hill, a great morning hike with even better views. Downtown restaurants are just on the other side of the block in front of the house. We walked to get breakfast and lunch several times. Super easy access to 101,280, and the Airport. Just down the road from El Camino Real. Supermarkets and shops are a very short drive away. The yard is very inviting. We had local friends over for a morning brunch and enjoyed it in the garden. Lots of seating options with great shade. This place is also very well stocked. We wanted for nothing. There was even a bottle of wine welcoming us for our stay. Thank you.

Surpassed My Expectations

Wonderful experience staying here. The unit was equipped with everything one could possibly need. The hosts even provided a nice bottle of wine and a basket of fruit upon checking in. The location is very walkable to stores, coffee houses and restaurants and I felt safe. The included parking space is a huge asset. I arrived as a tenant and I left as a family member. I shall return.

Great weekend spot when visiting San Fran !!!!

Overall a really great experience and wonderful apt and hosts !!!! We were a little concerned about the location as we were going to see shows at Oracle Park and weren’t sure how far out of the “downtown” we were, but it turned out just right !!! We were able To take an Uber or the Cal Train very easily into downtown SF! The neighborhood is so cute and has lots of dining options within walking distance. A “bodega” , a great sandwich shop, liquor store, cafe for breakfast , options for dinner, really covers it all. If you want more elegant dining in the city it’s not too far at all. The apt is terrific. We had 2 adults for a few days and 3 for one night. We were all able to have our own bed ! One in the bedroom which has the picket doors for privacy, one on the sleeper sofa ( which is a bit short. So we put the sleep mat on top and it worked out perfectly ) the other had the air bed which was conveniently stored in the closet. ) We slept comfortably and then deflated the air bed and had plenty of room to eat at the dining table, make coffee, etc. It’s a very well appointed space with really everything you need. Coffee maker , French press, full size fridge, stover. Really awesome. The outside garden is lovely !!! You have full access to the whole space. Sit at the table, or on the love seat w your feet up, enjoy your coffee or cocktails. It was a really nice bonus to have outdoor space to enjoy. Very clean and the hosts were WONDERFUL !

Excellent accommodations and hosts

My spouse and I enjoyed staying in Kawika’s spacious and very clean one bedroom apartment. It had everything we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen and in-unit laundry machines. Location is very convenient to retail and to freeways. Communication with the hosts was excellent, and we appreciated the detailed check-in instructions and photos. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our two weeks here. Very safe, comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful outdoor area in which relax. Owners were great to work with, a friendly relationship not just business. Parking was included, a big deal. We like to explore by car. Would stay here again.

Great location with responsive host

I stayed for 5 days for a work trip and just slept, showered, and made coffee at the apartment. Everything worked as expected. I really appreciated that there was already coffee, filters, and sugar available so I didn't need to run out and buy anything. The hosts were easy to get in touch with. The Apartment was bright and comfortable and quiet. The neighborhood is very walkable with great restaurants and the train station nearby. My only minor suggestion is that it would've been nice to have an empty chest of drawers to unpack my clothes into during my trip.

Very convenient location and so helpful to have a parking spot. The bed was very comfortable. The owners are thoughtful and have made their apartment welcoming with everything one might need including filtered water.

Quick visit to experience San Francisco

The apartment was very comfortable with excellent amenities for any type of visit. On site parking was a great feature. Once we figured out how to access bus or free shuttle to BART we were able to get into the city in about 45 minutes. We were able to visit many highlights of the city. The home owners were very accommodating and since we arrived during “Indian Summer” we also enjoyed the beautiful yard!! Bottled water, snacks and wine were a wonderful treat after a long day of travel detours due to fires. The neighborhood was fun, with lots of ethnic restaurants within walking distance. Perfect place to stay for our trip!
