Vintage San Francisco Bay Area Home

Relive the classic days of the San Francisco 70’s in this vintage styled South San Francisco home.

In the Home you’ll find 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, each bedroom is fun and styled; from our bedroom with orange shag carpet to our master bedroom with a leather headboard and mirrored vanity, each room has something fun to offer. The home is equipped with fast WIFI, a Smart TV in the living room with Netflix, Prime video (+ more), and a record player. On the walls we have vintage paintings showcasing some of the finer things. We also have some fun vintage books about the Bay Area and classic National Geographic magazines to flip through in your free time. Our kitchen has all the basics if you’d like to cook or store your food, feature a decently sized dining table for families and friends visiting of all sizes.

In our backyard, you’ll find a wonderfully large palm tree, the true tree of California towering over 3 stories. Out-back you’ll also find a lounge area equipped with 4 chairs and a table to enjoy the fun California sun by are constantly growing garden.

The home is nestled by the San Bruno mountains, are great place for hiking and exploring, SFO airport and the San Francisco Bay Area Bio-tech hub. Just south of Downtown San Francisco by about 15 min driving, our home is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood compared to the bustling downtown area. With-in walking distance we have a few restaurants, a local children’s playground with a massive basketball court and a laundromat.

We are constantly updating the experience with new styles and trinkets to include more flavor of San Francisco’s past. Thank you for reading, we look forward to hosting you soon!

This house was perfect for our little family. We have two tweens and they each had their own room, the kitchen was well stocked and our dogs we happy. We used the Laundromat that was down one block for laundry, super convenient! We were able to explore Pier 39, the California Academy of Sciences, Alcatraz, the aquarium, the boardwalk in Santa Cruz, The Mystery Spot and The Manchester Mansion! What a fun trip!! Just a quick note, there is no King Size bed. The master has a queen so the listing isn't correct but we would stay here again nonetheless!

Loved the parking, and the kitchen had everything we needed for the week. The host was helpful in extending our trip when I had issues with the app. The beds were very soft and comfortable and there was a lot of space. Bathroom was upgraded and the shower was great. The only tiny things were the living room was a bit dark and there wasn't a king bed like listed, just a queen. But those were really minor things.

The house had a fenced in yard perfect for pets or kids. The kitchen had an electric stove, coffee maker, toaster oven, tea, kettle, and all the other kitchen stuff.for cooking. There were extra blankets and the check in process was a simple lockbox and check in process was the easiest I've ever had. Everything worked in the place and we had a great time.

The neighborhood was good. Kitchen was good with clean utensils.However, the house was not clean, it had a lot of pet hairs.The hygiene factor was poor. Also, we had to face a lot of trouble in opening the lock , as the key was not working properly. This little SSF art deco home has the old quaint feel… It’s so charming and comfortable, a nice patio and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe. Its not smoke free home!

The kitchen is not totally clean you will the feel the grease in the counter. In the living room and the the other room you know that someone smoke in that room. We can't stay in that area. The cleaning lady or however clean the place need that do the job.

Intern Visit

The property was ok/adequate. We didn’t spend much time there so didn’t want to pay a lot for the stay. I have to say I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the place. The kitchen was kinda gross. There was a ton of grease visible on the backsplash and the cabinet fronts were dirty. I also found a clump of long black hair in the shower drain which was super gross as well. I think you need a new cleaning person. Also, someone showed up at the house at 10:45 am as we were loading our car to leave the property. She claimed to be part of “the crew” for a production and that she was supd to “meet the crew” at this house. She was confused as were we. Clearly, though we actually left the property in good condition, no one was planning to clean it before this next group was coming in for something? It was just a strange situation altogether. Anyway, we had no issues really other than I was not happy at the lack of basic cleanliness. You can and should do better than that. Thanks!
