Hidden gem

What a beautiful house and location. It’s a real hidden gem. You almost don’t want to tell people about it and keep it to yourself. What nice family Luigi and Angiolo and his wife are. Perfect hosts and a perfect house and pool with the most beautiful views of Tuscany. We would definitely come back. Had the best holiday ever. Thank you for making this happen.

Family reunion in Tuscany

Location was perfect with breathtaking views of San Gimignano and surrounding area. Close proximity to Siena, Florence and many other towns. Plenty of room in the villa for our group of 5 people. You definitely need to rent a car to be able to get around.

Gorgeous home and location

We loved our stay here! The home is beautiful, well equipped, and comfortable. We also picked it for the view/location, which is fabulous; my favorite aspect of the home was sitting outside in the morning, listening to the birds and watching the light shift. The host was very friendly and helpful; he gave us excellent recommendations for local meals and sites that we would have missed without him. Highly recommended.

Fantastico

La villa e' fantastica e accogliente, molto spaziosa e dotata di tutto. La vista su tutta la valle e su San Gimignano e' incantevole ed e' stato rilassante sdraiarsi sotto la veranda godendo del fresco e guardando il panorama. Non da meno la piscina in cui ci siamo molto divertiti e rilassati. Per ultimo ma non per importanza i prorietari sono stai molto accoglienti e gentili ed abbiamo molto apprezzato l'affetto dimostrato per nostro figlio. Grazie speriamo di rivederci!!

Beautiful

The house has a beautiful private position. The white road was manageable if driven with care. The house is very well cared for, has a lot of character and atmosphere and has everything you need to relax and enjoy a fantastic Tuscan view. Internal stairs a little tricky for old people. Big pool. Warning: when you use the airconditioning, remember to switch off the central switch next to the compressor whenever you can, because you will be charged by the hour! Please check details with the owner.

our wonderful Tuscany say

We were a multi-generation family and chose this villa after reading previous reviews. I was a little concerned about the unmade track down to the villa but after the 1st run it was no problem. The layout of the villa complemented our family to perfection. The pool is outstanding and was used everyday and sometimes at night.the layout of the grounds allowed some lone time to contemplate in silence if needed Angelo and family did themselves proud and looked after our every needs. all in all an extremely enjoyable stay and thank you Angelo and family for allowing to stay.

Lovely home with great views of the countryside and San Gimignano

Beautiful 5 BR/5 BA home close to town. Very comfortable. Nice pool. Wonderful outdoor areas. Steep gravel drive (100+ meters) and very narrow stairwell in the house were the only concerns. Angelo and Luigi were excellent, responsive hosts, but their English wasn’t much better than my nonexistent Italian. Google Translate was a huge help. We’d definitely go back!

Bellissimo! A wonderful experience

We stayed in this house for 3 days with family and friends. It was the perfect size for 10 people. Each couple had their own bed and bathroom. The house itself is an old farmhouse, and it’s history and location are what make it so charming. We rented cars and drove around Tuscany and still the views from the house were some of the best we experienced. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We met Luigi at the house in order to present our passports for our stay and he was very kind and helpful. We all agreed that it was the best part of our trip and we would love to come back every year. The only negative we experienced is that the pillows were not very comfortable, but I would take that trade for those beautiful views of Tuscany! Bellissimo!

Agréable maison situation exceptionnelle

Maison très agréable, bien équipée et parfaitement située. Un petit souci par rapport à la description (climatisation payante), mais pas du fait du propriétaire (indiqué sur le site italien pas sur le site français). Très bonne réactivité et réaction du propriétaire , très gentil.

Très belle propriété au calme avec superbe piscine. Les 5 chambres sont équipées de salles d eau et WC. Le chemin d accès est un peu difficile mais néanmoins praticable sans problème avec voiture standard. Climatisation totale de la maison.

Perfect week in a Santa Lucia!

Our group of four California couples enjoyed a splendid week at Il Fonti with spectacular views of nearby San Gimignano! The house was spacious and provided privacy and comfort for our group. We loved exploring the nearby hill towns as well as Firenze and Siena and coming back to relax by the pool. This was a very authentic Tuscan adventure! Super Urlaub mit Familie und Freunden

Sehr schönes Haus/Anwesen an super Lage. Das wunderschöne Städtchen San Gimignano befindet sich nur ca. 5 Fahrminuten entfernt und bietet Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Gastronomie und Geselligkeit. Schöne Poolanlage mit Wiese und Olivenbäumen - spektakuläre Aussicht!! Das Haus bietet 5 schöne Zimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad, Standard, Möblierung und Ausstattung ausreichend. Sehr freundliche und offene Gastgeber. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen!

Un angolo di paradiso

A cinque minuti di macchina dall’incantevole San Gimignano, eppure circondata solo da vigneti ed uliveti, questa bella casa antica ha tutti i comfort per una bella vacanza in famiglia. Pulita e dotata di tutti i confort tipici delle vecchie case di famiglia. Ha anche una bella piscina. Se amate il silenzio e la pace ma anche la possibilità di fare due passi in un borgo bellissimo è perfetta! Inoltre il Signor Angeli e sua moglie sono persone molto gentili, disponibili e non invadenti. Ci torneremo 🙂

Great experience, as advertised

We had 2 families stay at Le Fonti and had a great week. The pictures are real - you walk out of the house and see the picturesque view of San Gimignano, set across a perfect Tuscan valley. It’s a comfortable setup and (aside from a few quirks in the house, e.g. most cabinets only opened with keys) the house is well equipped. The hosts were great and very attentive. Would definitely come back, and recommend to friends.

Fabulous!

We loved this place! We were two families of 4 and the house was perfect. There was lots of room for our whole group to hang out together as well as many smaller areas if you wanted to be alone. Each room also had its own bathroom. The place stayed cool and we didn’t really need the air conditioner even during a heat wave. A swim in the pool was more than enough to cool down. We recommend this place enthusiastically!

Beautiful!

8 friends and I spent 3 nights at the villa. We loved it! The owner was quick to address any issues we had, supplied abundant firewood for the fireplace which we enjoyed every night and sent a jacket one of us left back to the states. We were very comfortable. All of us would return next time we visit Tuscany.
