  • Uniek en volledig privé eigentijds huis dat op een luchtige heuvel van 3 hectare ligt met prachtig uitzicht en privézwembad, paradijs voor vogels kijken, ideale plek om de Cayo-wijk te verkennen. 2 grote slaapkamers en een kleine, 2 badkamers, 3 grote dekken en binnentuin. Gunstig gelegen op slechts 2 mijl afstand van het belangrijkste centrum voor ecotoerisme (stad San Ignacio) maar het voelt als ver weg. Zeer hoge plafonds, kruis geventileerde kamers, hangmatten, ligstoel, tuinpaden om direct buiten te lopen, etc.

Great location that is convenient to town (5 min. drive to grocery store) but with large private grounds and great bird watching. House and property are wonderfully designed and the kitchen well-equipped. Host and housekeeper are very responsive, pleasant, and helpful.

This house was perfect. It's one of the cleanest houses we've ever had the pleasure of staying at and the setting was beautiful. The hosts clearly care for this home. Highlights: breakfast on the deck with the sunrise, toucans in the trees, multiple hammocks for relaxing, a nice path to the end of the property, amazing view, and cool breezes at night. Open up the wall of glass doors and the windows and it was extremely pleasant. The house is spacious and our family of four was very comfortable. We loved the cool pool after returning from touring all day. All the necessities like towels, cookware, and bottled water are provided. Consuelo is a gem and I highly recommend requesting she cook a meal for you. She's lovely and the dinner was a treat.

Wonderful Stay

The property was beautiful, clean and well kept. The view is amazing and the property owner is extremely helpful and communicative. We used the owners cook and recommended tour guide as well and both could not have been better. We would definitely stay again.

Base for touring the Belize jungle and ruins

Awesome stay. We really enjoyed the location and awesome view which is above the jungle outside of Santa Elena. We felt a part of the community. The pool is awesome and the wildlife viewing is great from the patio and pool area. Katia and her entire staff of workers were great as well.

The house was incredible. The property was perfection. The host was responsive, and Consuela is the most lovely human! Make sure you arrange to have Consuela cook - it was one of our very favorite experiences during our few days in Santa Elena. I hope we will be back someday!

Amazing home base for the Cayo

This is a very nice home in a beautiful location. We stayed here for a week while exploring the Cayo. The view from the deck in amazing. The pool was a nice to cool off in during the really hot afternoons. The host, Consuelo, was great and we had her cook dinner twice at the house (I highly recommend it).

Great Stay in Cayo District

Our family had a great time during our spring break. The house was clean, comfortable, and in a great location for our day trips to the ATM cave, Mayan ruins in Belize, and visiting Tikal. The host was great and met us on arrival and was there for check out. You should also consider arranging for the arrival dinner. It was really good and made for a relaxing first night.the gardens were beautiful, well maintained and the kids loved the pool.

Fantastic Stay

Beautiful home with an amazing view. The home was clean and plenty of room for our family of five. We loved spending time in the pool after long hot days doing adventures. We had a delicious meal cooked by the property manager and the owner went above beyond aiding us in getting a left sweatshirt. Will definitely stay at this magical home again.

what an amazing find!

We just loved our time in this beautiful home. Tons of space, completely surrounded by nature, well equipped home, brilliantly designed to take advantage of the breeze, a refreshing pool to dip in, dark sky for stargazing, perfect view of the sunset and sunrise, tucans in the trees during sunrise, comfortable beds, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, lots of towels, and the host is a wealth of knowledge on the area and super responsive! We highly recommend!

Hillview House

This house in Santa Elena is so cool! Our family of 5 stayed here for three nights. The house itself is well maintained, very spacious and clean. The views around the property are gorgeous and the surroundings are lush and so peaceful. We had Consuelo cook for us one nights and it was the best as she prepared food and cleaned up everything after. We got to relax after a long day. And Consuelo is so sweet and helpful. Wonderful stay and would highly recommend!

This was an amazingly beautiful and overall comfortable home in Santa Elena, Belize. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and the bedding was soft. The home was clean and secure.The only disappointment was when I read "ac" in the description, I presumed more of the home would have ac. The only ac was in a small bedroom that had a double bed. Overall, the home is very open and a constant breeze kept it mostly comfortable.I would stay here again for sure!

Gorgeous home

We had a great 3 nights in Santa Elena. The home was perfect for us, three teenage boys, my husband and I. Katia had great communication, made excellent recommendations for some fun adventures while we were there. Consuelo cooked us a delicious Christmas dinner. We couldn’t have asked for a better meal, eating on the veranda with a beautiful view overlooking the hills. So pretty! The home is a great location for adventures around San Ignacio and an excellent place to retreat to after a busy day. Comfy beds, hot showers, hammocks everywhere, just sit back and relax:)

We stayed at this property with our 3 teenage children for four nights. The view of the hillside is spectacular and the property is one of the most unique and beautiful that we have ever stayed. The directions to the house were very clear. The road up to the house is unpaved and pretty bumpy. Only one room has air conditioning but the others have fans and they helped on the hot nights. One of our favorite memories of the trip was having Consuelo cook a traditional Belizean meal. We will never forget how delicious and special it was!

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning hilltop rental property with breezy breathtaking panoramic views and a luxurious pool. This modern home exceeded all expectations, providing a truly unforgettable experience. The property manager, Consuelo, was exceptional, ensuring our stay was flawless. Her warm hospitality and attention to detail were remarkable. To top it off, Consuelo treated us to a delectable homemade meal one evening, which was both delicious and reasonably priced. Wow! This house is AMAZING! It is the coolest concept design, a stunning location, and the host, Katia and her helper Consuelo did a phenomenal job welcoming us. Communication was top notch. This house is a rare find big enough to host a family with three teens. Lots of space to take a break!The only cons- only one bedroom room has AC. Absolutely no big deal in the cooler months, but if you aren't acclimated to BZ heat it might get toastier. The floor plan is definitely designed to keep the breeze flowing through the house and there are plenty of fans. There was no hot tub as advertised, but the infinity pool is extra cool!!

Unbelizeable!!!!

Consuela welcomed us in the doorway of the most picturesque modern home I have seen. The site pictures did not do the Casa Hill View justice. When you open the window wall to the hill side view, it is absolutely breathtaking. We arose early everyday just to get a glimpse of the sunrise and to hopefully catch a snapshot of the ever elusive Toucan. Thank you Katia for allowing us to share your beautiful home.

Just gorgeous!

This property was just amazing! The layout was perfect for our family…we like to spread out and there was plenty of room to do that. With the bedrooms on either end of the house, we all met in the middle for meals and to enjoy the incredible view from the back. We cook a lot, and the house had everything we needed. We just wished we were staying longer to enjoy more of the view, but we had so many things planned. Don’t miss the Iguana Conservancy and the VIP tour at the Raptor Center is a can’t-miss! AJAW Chocolate in town was super fun and educational. We love supporting the local community! Thank you, Katia, for being an incredible host!
