There is kitchen but nothing in it, dirty floors, sofa didn’t have pillows, bed sheets and cover, only 3 pillows on queen bed, no shampoo/ conditioner/lotion in the bathroom, only on demand, heard the lamest excuse for not having it, check in took long time, there was used small soap next to sink in the bathroom. Loud lobby . Very disappointed, windows do not open.

Staff was friendly and helpful which makes this review tough. The reason I was not happy was due to the overwhelming smell of curry in the entire hotel. The smell was so strong that it gave me an instant headache. I almost left to go home because I couldn't handle the smell. I actually LOVE curry but feel like every single room was cooking it and it was just everywhere with no escape. The smell was even in the linens and walls. This made it extremely hard to relax and just take a deep breath. Very unhappy...but definitely not the staffs fault.

Rude customer service on the phone . Room was nice and spacious. The bed was hard as the asphalt this hotel sits on . Pillows felt like a stack of papers in a pillowcase . The breakfast was rubbish.Just to go old muffins and bars . No coffee @ 8:25AM no staff around Ahahaha and no bell to let them know someone is in need of assistance . AND FOR THE PRICE !!! a night Fri. 02.23.2024- 02.25.2024 ughhh blooody rip off . Very unfortunate.It really was waste for my birthday trip I wished I should’ve just not gotten a room there . It is probably an above average stay for San Jose, it is weird the room has stove and microwave, but no pans, plates or tableware. No shower curtain either, front desk provided one when asked. Hallways need more vacuuming.

Straight Garbage
They switched the hotels from south to north. I was given a room key ——-, walked in and the room was being used. I went down stairs to get another key and was given ——. That room had unmade beds and poop in the toilet! The guy at the front desk came and check three room and the third one was clean. Plus the garbage was all out of the trash room and my mother who is disabled and in a wheelchair had to go around the garbage to get down the hall! If this place had any class they would refund my money! The kicker, I saw a roach in the kitchen! Not surprised since the garbage was all in the hallway! This place was STRAIGHT GARBAGE!

Received a phone call from the property saying that previous person trashed room and they didn't have anything else. They set us up with "sister property" which was across the parking lot. Worst experience ever at a hotel. Lobby smelled of smokers, dirty socks and chemicals. Upon arrival in room, there was urine in the toilet, which was stained. Mold under the sink. A dirty washrag on the floor near the bed. the list goes on. Had to check out after the first night because it was so disgusting.

Horrible stay.
My family and I stayed in a king bed with a sofa bed. The room was filthy, and there were roaches in the room. I saw them the following morning when they were roaming around the room and the walls. It wasn't just 1, it was multiple. Walking on the walls, on the table. It was disgusting. I will much rather sleep in my car next trip, than stay in this hotel again. I had asked for 2 extra pillows, and a blanket since we were using the sofa bed. The pillows I was given were damp, and not even an apology was offered. Couldn't use the pillow either way. We went downstairs to have some snacks in the morning, and there were no cups, no plates, nothing to serve yourself any drinks.

It looks normal from the outside, and it’s in a nice area, but DO NOT BE FOOLED! What this place needs most is a wrecking crew to knock it down and start over entirely. Just deplorable. YUCK! The place feels more like a squatters’ flophouse than anything else. I can say that two staff members actually seemed to want to help, but my only advice to those decent people is to look for other work. I’ve never spent the night in a worse “hotel” in the United States—once or twice in Tijuana, Mexico in the 80s, maybe. But it’s a close race for last place here. If Expedia hadn’t refunded our entire booking (we had no choice but to sleep one mournful night here, and I kid you not, with one child crying about how bad the room smelled and how dirty the hallway was and so forth) I would seriously consider suing. We booked at $200 a night! Should you be so desperate as to need a room here, I can only offer this advice: Not only no, but hell no!!!

The location at this site is what keeps me coming back. Our room had a bad odor , I ended up buying air freshener. Grab and go breakfast was out when we tried multiple times. Most the staff really friendly.

The good: the floor in the room was clean and the beds were clean and comfortable. The bad: you have to request kitchen supplies (plates, utensils, etc) and they did not have everything they advertise available. There are people living here like long-term (rugs and brooms). Our entry constantly smelled like curry (great when you are hungry, not so great at 6am or 10pm). The neighbors would sweep their dirt in front of our door... not kidding, I stood there watching as she did it. The gym has 3 cardio machines, one broken. EVERYTIME I worked out there were kids age 4-10 running in and out of the gym and on the one other piece of equipment with no parent in site. The one time I used the pool there was a boy doing flips into it without a parent there (he seemed to know what he was doing, but one mishap and suddenly I'm in charge of an injured kid I've never met). The hall gets vacuumed maybe every other day. The stairwells were dirty and smelly awful. The bathroom sink was plugged up on day 1. If the room floor and beds weren't just find I would have left and taken the financial loss. If you are looking to live in the Bay Area in a cheap hotel, the might be good... if you want a vacation spot, I'd look elsewhere.
