'We arrived very late at night and it didn’t feel like a safe area. The security guard was very helpful and friendly. When we got to the lobby, we were disappointed at how dirty and unkept it was. The condo is outdated. The dining table was full of small insects, the counter was dirty. The dryer was missing the handle and the door was filthy. The refrigerator door was dirty. There were covers on the sofas that were also dirty. Unfortunately, I stayed my first night because we arrived late...

'Only downside is that it's on the fourth floor with no elevator and lots of gates to get into the place. Outside of the building really felt prison chic... Bad neighborhood...?'

While the decor has a charming, dated feel and the unit faces the street, leading to some ambient city noise from crowds, cars, and even airplanes, we found it didn't detract from our experience as we're accustomed to city living.The condo truly offered all the conveniences of home, making our stay very comfortable. We especially appreciated the small kitchen, which was great for our needs, the beautiful pool, and the handy laundry...

'Responsive host accommodated our late arrival. Very clean place with a nice view and has all of the amenities you need. We loved the nice shower with nice water pressure and heat! Pretty close to Ceiba, a bit of a distance from the ferry, so make sure to rent a car or get a taxi. Gated community, and it was quiet!'
