You can walk everywhere in town or take a taxi out of town. There is also street parking if you want to rent a moto or a car. (We offer better rates on private car rentals as well).



Things to note:

Nicaragua does experience power and water outages from time to time. It is a part of the lifestyle here and we all flow with it as it comes. Nicaragua doesn’t have a mail or email system so we aren’t given any notice when this happens, (we find out when you do). In the off chance that this happens during your stay, we apologize in advance as these outages are out of our control. That being said, we do what we can to make things more comfortable for you. The Stone Elephant has 3 water reserve tanks (about 3500L of water), so we tend to have water available when a lot of San Juan does not ❤️🐘😊.
