Service for this hotel was lacking for the level of this hotel. We used self parking. One evening we asked for some plastic to protect us from the rain/wind (they have shuttles to transport you from parking area to hotel) and evening manager basically told us that he gets wet as well and there’s nothing he can do. Concierge services Do not get back to you in a timely matter. Lastly, the front desk are not friendly. I will say that the hotel is kept very clean, and Palomino Island was Really good. I’m Palomino Island. The employees were extremely courteous. Unfortunately, I would not return To this hotel, as I expressed my concerns, and nothing was done about it.

We LOVED our stay at El Conquistador! The views both of the property and from the property are breathtaking, Palomino Island is a must-go (especially since that's the only beach for the property), Coqui Waterpark is super fun and the pools are wonderful. The staff is very helpful, and the property is so big that, even when it's there's quite a few people there, it doesn't feel crowded. That being said, the food is hit or miss and it's very EXPENSIVE. So be prepared for that...Otherwise, it was wonderful and we'll definitely be back!

All I have to say is, I’m glad I didn’t listen to the reviews. I almost canceled my trip because of reading them. I did not have one problem getting on the boat for the island as long as a reservation was made. And the Island is just amazing. All and all me and my family had an amazing vacation. We will definitely be back.

This property is beautiful! The only thing I did not like was the cleanliness of the pool. It was always dirty. We went to the pool multiple times and it was never clean. Things floating around - cups from drinks - food containers. I think for a resort like this - they need to upkeep the pool and the surrounding area all day long.

Only complaint was when we tried to leave the self parking we had to wait several minutes for someone to open the gate to let us out. Would suggest paying the extra $10 a night to get valet parking.

The trip was excellent. If there is one thing they could work on is customer service. We had a room with a clogged toilet and had to ask 3 times before someone would help / assist .

Beautiful Location. All rooms look to the ocean. Do not forget to use the funicular to travel to the water park. The staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurants were available no need for a reservation. Food was delicious. Check out was easy.

Amazing place, we’ve been there several times. But one default I would say, I had 2 kids under 2yrs old and ran out of playpen/cribs - my response to them is a beautiful place making all of this money, couldn’t send a manager with a company credit card to get one? Lol

The hotel had a hard time finding the reservation, it took them 30m. We paid $400 more on top of the reservation to get a suit. The suit was in very poor condition. The room needs updating. Handle of shower was broken. The door to the shower was hard to close and the water would come out from the bottom of it. The AC in the main room was not working properly, it was humid even after calling to get it serviced. The sofas/chairs had stains on them. The sofa bed mattress was old enough to the point you can feel the springs. Extremely disappointed in that sense. The elevator was not working when we arrived and the funicular got stuck while going down. The hotel will not allow you to reserve a spot to go the Palomino Island before arrival. We were lucky to the get a reservation for 1:30 pm the next day. By the time you check in most reservations are gone. The rest of the hotel is nice / clean.

We had a wonderful experience. We just weren’t thrilled that they closed down half of the property for a private event for 2 of the days we were there. Also, this event was incredibly loud all day long.
