Villa Ilusion in Rainforest El Yunque

Ideale plek voor natuurliefhebbers en privacy voor uw feesten of gewoon uitrusten.

VILLA ILUSION combineert een huis met hut (studio loft) met 5 hectare puur natuur met ruimte voor 6 personen. Deze plaats bevat gemeenschappelijke ruimtes voor speciale activiteiten zoals verjaardagen, intieme bruiloften of groepsbijeenkomsten.

Het ligt op een afgelegen, beschutte plek met een verfrissende heuvel, gelegen tussen twee werelden: 5 minuten van de hete en vochtige kustvlakte, aan de deur van het regenwoud van El Yunque; en 15 minuten van de stranden, golf en excursies naar de baai. Koken uw eigen maaltijden in de goed uitgeruste keuken, restaurants in de omgeving bieden uw culinaire hoogstandjes, of u kunt maaltijden bestellen geserveerd in de villa.

Onze klanten zijn dol op de grote tuinen die goed worden verzorgd met een verscheidenheid aan tropische planten. De ingang van de privéweg van de sector is afgesloten, evenals de toegangsweg naar het dorp. Uw privacy is hier ongeëvenaard.

Het huis is comfortabel, omvat een volledige keuken, eetkamer, woonkamer met grote ramen, 3 slaapkamers en 3 1/2 badkamers dan comfortabel slapen 6 personen. Drie kamers bevinden zich in het hoofdgebouw met 2. 5 badkamers en een jacuzzi. Derde slaapkamer bevindt zich in aangrenzende hut type loft met een eigen bad. Onlangs hebben we een zwembad gebouwd.

Als u voor meer dan 15 personen wilt reserveren, moet u minimaal $ 1.000 per dag van het evenement betalen, afhankelijk van het aantal gasten van de activiteit.

Location is AMAZING if you want to stay in the rainforest. The house is not perfect but functional. Our host was excellent, very fast response time and quickly got us up and running with the generator when the whole island was without power. We slept very well in the air conditioned bedrooms.

What a gorgeous and relaxing environment to be in. Lovely, remote and quiet. The home was comfortable. Be aware that being in a rainforest, you will experience rain showers daily. Lots of moisture, inside and out. This isn't a complaint by us. The lack of a washer and dryer was difficult. Towels and clothes never dried out. We didn't take this into consideration.We expected two king beds as listed. However, they were queen beds. If it's in the listing, that's our expectation. That part of the listing should be corrected by the host.If staying in this area of Puert Rico again, we would happily book this property again.

I wish VRBO allowed recordings, because the sounds of rainforest frogs and birds at night are amazing. Spacious and totally secluded home with pool, deck with views, and several patios, surrounded by lush jungle. You won’t see another person or house. The house could use a fair bit of maintenance and the back bedroom is a bit dark, but the living room is bright and welcoming as is the master bedroom. Host communication was very good. We really enjoyed hiking and beaches at the Reserva Natural de Las Cabezas de San Juan, and El Yunque National Forest. Great dinner at the laid back La Estacion restaurant in Fajardo. We also did a trip to Old San Juan, which was very touristy but worthwhile.

This property is good if you are not looking for a top-of-the-line rental, as with all VRBO there were good and bad aspects. The good: Home is in a beautiful location, tons of privacy and very spacious. The pool was amazing and plenty of body towels were provided. The property manager was very responsive with all questions and needs. The not so good: The beds are NOT king sized, they are queen. Half of the windows do not close, therefore rendering the air conditioner in the main bedroom useless. The broken windows also allowed bugs in, however, the frogs that also got in, ate the bugs, so not a big deal. The dishwasher leaks. The counters in the bathroom and kitchen were not thoroughly cleaned upon arrival and we had found a previous renters retainer left in the kitchen. The "bad" outweighs the good so I would rent this property again.

This is a house in a absolutely beautiful setting! The flora and fauna is absolutely delightful! The pool is a highlight-a wonderful spot to return to after a day of discoveries! We plan to return on our next visit to Puerto Rico. Thank you Margarita and Antonio!

The place was amazing for getting away from it all! Totally secluded. Loved the pool and the Landscaping was amazing. So many different flowers and fruits. A bit far away from the beaches. Miles don't mean minutes. Would have liked the owners to point out some cool local spots that were minutes from the house but had to find them on our own. One we found on our last day and would have loved to explore more. I would go back.

We had an amazing stay at the property! The lot is outstanding and it’s surrounded by lush tropical nature and coqui singing all night) enough space to fit comfortably a family of 3. Outdoor shower was my favorite along with the tub! Balcony overlooking the rainforest and a decent size pool were great too! Kitchen had everything we needed) very cozy place! we definitely will be back!

The location of this property is absolutely stunning!!!! The sounds of the coqui’s in the evenings throughout the night.. it’s a true rainforest experience. We were a little taken back by the conditions of the house. It could be cleaned out and polished up a bit even if it is difficult to update or remodel at the time. It’s not a home I would bring the whole family if you plan on staying indoors much but there is so much to experience in Puerto Rico that you probably wouldn’t be. It’s a comfortable place to sleep. There is cold a/c in the rooms and we didn’t have problems with anything while we were there. The pool is perfect! We did enjoy spending time at the pool enjoying the nature and landscaping. The hosts are great!! They were very accommodating, friendly and hospitable.

Great place for our family to use as a home base while we explored the east end of the island! Our boys loved the pool and yard, and the house was 10-40 minutes from everything we wanted to do - beach, snorkeling tour, El Yunque, great restaurants, old San Juan, etc! Great communication and easy check in/out. Rainforest noises did take a bit to get used to at night, kinda like indoor camping. Great spot if you want to stay out of the tourist traps and resort areas and get a bit closer to the “real” Puerto Rico.

We had an amazing time at this location. It was, just as described, a wonderful escape into the exterior bits of the rainforest. We felt like we got to hear and see more things staying here than when we visited El Yunque. The sounds at night were awesome. The house was open and refreshing. If you're a fan of rural living and enjoy being away from the crowds, this is the place for you. We didn't want to leave, that is for sure.

The property was in the midst beautiful setting I've ever seen. The pool was amazing! Falling asleep to the sounds of the rainforest has me wondering how I will sleep back at home. Food. So much around from the kiosks to restaurants. Never had a bad meal close by. The owners are amazing very attentive and even bought beach chairs to use. The view from the house to the pool was amazing and we always looked forward to jumping in the pool after a long day at luquillo or playing golf at Rio Mar. Thank you all for the wonderful stay.

The house is comfortable and exceptionally well-equipped. The kitchen is made for cooking with high quality pots and pans, knives, and so on. There are loads of spices, condiments, and even some olive oil for cooking. Another nice touch: beach chairs and towels waiting for you to use. We found good restaurants not far away (check out Brisas de Mar), but also cooked for ourselves and enjoyed meals at the outdoor table. A couple of questions came up and the owner responded immediately.

The location of this property is 10/10. WOW! We booked our stay at the house for 8 nights....Located just at the edge of El Yunque rainforest, the nature surrounding the home is absoultly magiacal. Falling asleep to the singing tree frogs at night was so peaceful. The pool area is picture perfect and a great place to hang out in the late afternoon with drinks. Check in was easy and hosts were communicative. HOWEVER, the home in the current condition as it is leaves much to be desired. It rained for several days, as it does in the rainforest, and there were some major issues with flooding inside the home. We had to end our stay a few days early because it was so damp and humid inside from all the water coming in that it was no longer comfortable to stay there. Hosts were very understanding and refunded us for the last two nights and we thank them for that. Hopefully the hosts will make the necessary repairs to the home before the next guests come to stay. If I were considering this rental i would ask the host before booking to avoid this happening as it is very likely that it will rain in the rainforest.

This property was so beautiful. It felt like our own private jungle oasis. The owner was so lovely and attentive. From the private swimming pool, to the comfortable bedrooms, to the patio and balcony. It felt like an old school puertorican hacienda which I absolutely loved!! Perfect getaway for families who really wish to get the full island experience. The beach wasn't too far either and there is a shopping center near by for all of your needs. Will definitely be coming back soon!!
